I've been working on this model for a while now, and just started to color it, but I have run into a problem.

After I "Dropped" the model to start Texturing with Texture Master, I made it look how I wanted, then pressed pick. It comes out being way brighter and totally wrong shading from what I had after painting. Can someone tell me what is wrong?

How I want it.

What happens when I pick.

Anyone? Anyone?

I'm not sure , but it think I know what happened.

Follow these steps :
-Draw your head onto the canvas
-Go into Edit mode
-Load texture master
-Select the color you want as a base color -for your head and click the "FILL object" button underneath the colors.
-Click the "Drop" button
-paint a bit on your head , but avoid edges. , color the edges with the head placed in another direction later.
-Click the "Pick" button , the white areas shouldnt be there now

What is happening is a natural function of the way that TextureMaster works.

As surfaces angle farther and farther away from the camera, AutoIntensity kicks in and causes less color to be picked up. This is meant to allow you to perform a series of drops and picks and have your work blend smoothly together.

If you wish to override the AI function, simply turn off Transform>3DCopy>A.I. Once you have done so, everything that you paint will be transferred to the texture regardless of orientation. However, you will see that as you rotate the model you get a sharp line rather than a gradual blending. This is fine for covering the model with a base pattern quickly, but you will probably want to turn A.I. back on again for detail work.

Thank you both of you. I haven't tried what you said, aurick, just yet, but I will on my next model. The Namek's suggestion made it work right. Thanks.

:) I think I'm finally understanding ZB now. :) I'll post my finished work, well, when I'm done. :D

By the way, you do not have to click Fill Object before you do your first Drop. TextureMaster will automatically do that for you with the currently selected color. What happened to you was that you changed the color AFTER pressing Drop, rather than before.
