View Full Version : Dissapearing deactivation window fix

This may never come up again, but I just ran into this problem while trying to De-Activate my ZBrush 3.5;

- I start ZBrush 3.5 to De-Activate it. I click the Zplugins/Deactivation button...and no matter which of the 3 buttons I click, the confirmation window will only appear for literally only a second. Needless to say, I got pretty good at racing my cursor precisely over to the "OK" portion of that dissipating confirmation window, but it never worked.

Here's how I did get it to finally work - I just dragged the Deactivation pallatte over to my right side and docked it there, after that the buttons worked as they should.

Easy fix, but weird.

I've the exact same problem, and your fix doesn't work, please can someone tell me how to deactivate with the "deactivate" button...:rolleyes:

I would like to test r3 very much, hoping its more polished to avoid this kind of trouble...

[edit] Got it working after randomly scribbling on the canvas... very zbrush like:lol:... Anyway, checking on the goods now.:)

Lol, truly weird.

Good that you're up and running.

I had the same problem last night. Quick little disappearing window.
I'll try the dock approach tonight...thanks

Cool beans.

I didn't have the problem deactivating my ZBrush_r2 as I originally did with Zbrush 3.5, the whole process was perfect and am experimenting with Release 3. Good times...

i can't activate 3.5 r3 because it does what you are describing then asks me for my activation code without letting me apply for one.
