thought I would pop on and post a little sketch I did this morning. Now its bedtime and I found time to post it. Sorry no blood n guts this time around...a bit out of character for me and prettys simple stuff..but thought it might do good as a Z piece...

thnx guys..yeah I will attempt to do my best at putting together a full zbrush scene....but most of my pieces are normally just objects, heads and such...this was just something different than I an normally accustomed to drawing. Normally I tend to stay in ther realm of violence, mayhem, blood, guts and beasties from below. I have bought a new set of graphite pencils this weekend and decided to give them a whirl. Nothing like that heavy feel in my hand. He just kind of happened....that is how most of my stuff goes...it happens...when I do a z piece and moreso here of late I have already done a sketch over my morning coffee to get the juices pumping on what I want to do next...examples of this would have been

The demon kid with the raining candy

The spidey addition to the GG

or the Festively Plump image

to name a few recent ones...

With doing a sketch I am less likely to deviate from my original thought and feelings when I came up with an idea. Dlee inspired me to do a little dog sketch, that I wont post the sketch coz it's terrible, but it's more of a note of things to do when I get this cowboy one knocked out in Z...

Please don't expect anything grandioco from me on this...I just wanted to share the thought process of how I go about creating images. I have done this openly several times in the past, so this wont be the last one posted like this. Like the dragon pic I posted right after getting 1.5.1...I have to revisit that one coz I wanted to sharpen my skills a bit rather than skrewing up my dragon. Besides there were so many dragons being posted on the forum at that time.

Anyhoo...thnx for the comments yall. They are always appreciated...the good, the bad and the ugly :)

Well it is great to see you humble yourself though you dont give yourself enough credit.
Your work is great and I love seeing it get better and better.
The new Cowboy kid image will turn out just asexcellent if not better then the past (though I did expect some sort of blood or guts somewhere...maybe smeared on the back wall...?) ;)

Hi Ron is this one Tom Mix or Hop along Cassidy, I just loved those cowboy comics as a boy. I would walk for a mile if someone got a few new ones from the States. I actually had a comic book club at one time. Bring one new one and you could borrow three :D
I hope you do some more with this drawing it should be fun.
