This is a wip , I'm going to add a lot more props and background. I will drop a bleeding hearth in his hand , but I still have to figure out how to model something that looks like a hearth :)
Also figuring out how to get his cape look like material for clothes , messing around with material settings and textures.
Any comments and 121 appreciated.

Kevin

the hands pose is part. fantastico - i dont know what it is holding, but what ever it is it should imo reach a lil bit higher to match the eyes focus. great details everywhere - and i assume you gonna add more :) + :tu: :tu: :tu:

I love all the details that came in the update especially the necklace and the weaving between the shirt. But to me the two pillars (?)in the background don't fit at all or at least they are not immediatly identifiable as pillars. The fire on the left seems a bit weak, would maybe work better with brighter colors like the horse statue in the background.

It's turning out great, the texturing is also very good, particularly on the chest and the heart (it's a heart Juandel :) ) :tu: :tu:

It looks great atm...but as TVeyes said...the pillars don't match at all. And i would make the heart a little bit more shining so that it looks like its fresh out of the body ;)

thanks for the comments , I'll work on the background , easy to fix since its a plane with a texture(image made in c4d).
I'll change the hearth too , it's even been called an apple :p

I cleared the background , added some more stuff and changed the hearth , does it look better now ?
Still working on a new background , the fire is postwork but didnt turn out good. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1041884389yeg.jpg

Hi... Very nice, very very nice...
One question: how did u do the lightning on the amulet in the second version?

the lightning was post work. I made very thin selections , filled them with white , added an outer glow (blue). copied the layer with the lighting 2 times , rotated these new layers and changed their opacity.

I guess you could just paint it in Zbrush too if you imported the rendered image back into zbrush.

Oh.. Fine thanks..
And how did u do the textures?
I mean how did u do that Skin?

It's not done with texturemaster , I never use texturemaster unless I want to export the model.
The head and chest was snapshot onto the canvas , I used the single Layer brush (MRGB=on , ZADD=off) with the basicmaterial and painted a skin like color onto head and chest.
Then I selected the alpha with the scales and a darker version of the skin color. And painted the alpha on the skin with the "Draw Rectangle Stroke" in different sizes and sometimes rotated the alpha.
Same with the alpha with all the little dots.
Then I changed the settings of the basismaterial with a bit of Colorbump , ambient to 0 , specularity none , ...
saved the material and loaded in place of another material , raised the specularity and painted the second material in some places with the single layer brush (M=on)
Also add some more lights than the standard 2 to enhance the bumps a bit.

Sorry about my english , i'm nto so good at explaining technical stuff :p
