Really good bro !!! :D :tu:
I like more the reflections into eyes !!! :tu: :tu: :tu:
Oh yes Pus G!Really extraordinary-the expression, the colors-very un-ordinary-I'd love this at about 4'x5'. All of those fine little details.

NASTY critter....
NIce and gooey. NIce texture work. Tryt to do some post work with 2D Brushes around the eyes to get a bit more shadow/light in there.

Woah, thanks everyone for the kind words.
MrBraun,
Thanks bro, I forgot to mention that I did the reflections as postwork in PS. The reflection is actually the boars head that I did for the first monday night challenge a few months ago.
Rhom,
Thanks bro, the actual size is 4000x3000 ppi, I'm afraid if I tried to do one that was 4'x5' my computer would explode!
;~)
Bluesman,
Thanks dude, I really appreciate it! It is an honor to be considered inspiring! I know how you feel too, A year ago when I first started coming to ZBC I found it a terrific source for inspiration!!
Glen,
Thanks dude, for the kind words and the good advice... though I've already copyrighted this image I will be sure to pay more attention to the eyes shadows and highlights in postwork from now on!
Juandel,
Muchos Gracias! I always look forward to your comments! I didn't really see the possible Aztec look until you mentioned it! A great fresh perspective you have!
The Namek,
Thanks bro... I really appreciate the kind words and feedback!! Sick is good!!! ;~)
Best Regards
dr.jjwow,
Thanks doc, You definately percieve it the way I do... I think he's pretty creepy too!
My whole point behind this image is that humans trying to become immortal with the use of cyborg-like mechanisms and electronics is truly horrifying! In this piece I tried to capture the expression of absolute pain and misery, of which I feel most satisfied with my results!
Take care,
Michael

Good News, This image is being considered for a CD cover for a local thrash band. Wooohooo!
Anyways, I was discussing this image with a friend of mine and I was asked to post the old sketch that this image was inspired by. Here is a colored pencil sketch that I drew approximately 10 years ago. The above image is loosely based upon this old sketch.
I know, I know, I should have used an acid free sketch book back then. I only use acid free sketch books nowadays.
Thanks for looking,
Michael
