Today's the start of MACWORLD in NY and I'm pretty sure more people will hear about this "phenomenon" called ZBrush since Pixologic is unveiling v.123 at the expo.

In anticipation of new members that will log in for the first time here at the central., here's a treat for everybody!

Created this with v.121 and 100 percent done in ZBrush.

For extreme detail disecting, here are close ups of where I had fun the most creating.

Most of you may not know but I actually started my art career on a Mac. Getting my feet wet on this machine was probably one of the memorable moments of my career. Unfortunately, I had to switch platforms in order to be more versatile and marketable. (since there wasn't any competitive 3D program on the Mac during the mid 90's)

Thanks to ZBrush! Great artists from the Mac side can now go neck to neck with the big boys of PC.

Although I'm using NT and IRIX these days, MACs will always have a special place in my heart!

Cheers!

Saint,
Your work is as of the heavens. Your computer has been touched by the creative angels. A mighty chorus of trumpets heralds the unvieling of another masterpiece!
(so when can we mortals expect Captain America?)

Hello,

Your art become brighter with the time. In all term senses (is that correct ?).

I just wanted to say that it's your work, together with Pixolator's and Southern's, that convinced me of the interest of ZBrush.

And I'm still happy with it !!!

Amazing. If we lined up a 1000 ZBrush pictures and ranked them in order yours would be at the top and easily identifiable as being produced by you. You have a style that very much says `the saint` and I haven`t seen anyone come close to it.

An inspiration Sonny, an inspiration. You should make sure this one goes into Bills Book.

See ya,

Glen

I have been meaning to ask you if you had an online gallery of your work. I noticed awhile back you removed your images from Renderosity and I miss the inspiration. If by chance you do not and would like to have a gallery it would be an honor for me to set one up for you on Z-Place, just give me a hoot.

It's always nice to hear comments from fellow artists. Thanks guys! I appreciate it!

I had to flushed this out pretty quickly because I'm trying to get as much materials as possible to be included in the book project I mentioned on my other post.

I know I promised to do my version of Captain America in ZBrush at the "Academy" but my motivation seems to be leaning towards different directions. Perhaps after Le Discot show us his "Punisher" I might get inspired to do another hero. (don't worry, it's still in my back burner and will work on the captain when the right time comes!)

Jibberish: The rope was taken from Pixolator's tutorial on "bolts"! I'll post it as soon as I find it.

Digits: I really appreciate your thought on putting up a space for me on your "place". I may just have to put you up to it! Actually, I really need a website to put up a bunch of stuffs. (sketches, MAYA, XSI, concept art, and of course ZBrush stuffs!) Problem is., I'm pretty dumb when it comes to HTML and all that web crap. Perhaps you can help me on this thing. (not to mention my time/schedule problem.)

Thanks again everybody!

Always remember that We all generate inspirations from each other here at the Central.

Keep up the great work guys!!

OK! Jibberish, here's a quick tutorial on making a rope.

http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads0/user_image-995989878erx.jpg

Rope is a very cool prop I'd like to use in my art. Little things like these could add so much to an entire piece.

Happy ZBrushing!
