Any opinions on wanting the materials and Ztls for these 2 pics? Shall I put them on the downloads page?
Can ya tell where this is all going?

it get's my vote :tu: :tu:
do fish ever get thirsty?
can a fish drown?
Thanks for the vote EZ.
Yes they do get thirsty (take one out of a bowl and see ;)
Yes they do drown (lack of oxygen).
I think there's a book out at B and N called "Do goldfish Get Thirsty" or something like that...
I saw the book last week, the cover is rather sweet.
Very nice, Kathy! The goldfish is awesome for its modeling, and I like the adjustment that you made to the ambient curve for the main material. Works well. :)
You asked before the ants if we could tell where it was going. Looks to me like they're making a 3x5 card. :D

Nice fish--my fave is the top one--First thing I really liked was the skin color/texture ..then the eyes/expression--but I see I'm not the first one to say that ..but anyway another Winner from Kat...

I LOVE your little goldfish, Kath!
One question, though. Is there any water in that bowl, or is he floating in the middle of the bowl, perhaps in an experiment on the space station? <gasp!>
He needs a friend in there with him.
Actually I placed the semitransparent waterline (same material as the bowl, sphere flattened 90% both negetively and positively) too high up near the neck of the bowl.
You can't see it as well as I'd thought. :(
I'll have to go back and fix that..
Here's the textures, tools etc. (per Stonecutter's request)

I rely on textures 99% of the time.
These textures are specially created through some pretty unique means. I have almost half a gig of them now. And plan on making them available via download or CD in the near future.

Hi Kat . . . :)
Now those are a couple of very nice images & objects!!! ;)
Although I must admit that, I have had a battle going on over here with ANTS for two days now. I got up yesterday morning, went to the cupboard to get some cereal & THOUSANDS of ANTS attacked me. :(
They are all over my kitchen & bathroom. I used some Raid ant spray, but they've returned several times in the last 2 days. I'm afraid to go to sleep tonight, due to them carrying me away while I'm sleeping.
Anyway, thanks for the great objects & posting two more wonderful images. Have a good one . . . Mark.

beautissimost goldfish, Kathy! wonderful! :tu: :tu: :tu:
Mark: hope you are still there :D
i tried to get rid of an ant-invasion the nice way as i am mostly pacifist. i put up cocacola-trails to guide them out of the kitchen, some honey here and there. they did not care. they came by a few hundreds continuously, walking through my room, straight into the kitchen and back with some crumbs of superior antfood. next day a visitor killed about 100 of them by hitting on their trail with one of her shoes. :( ouch. the busy trail came to a halt. then they came back to carry their squashed com-ants with them back into their hive. they obviously evaluated their losses. and they never returned. hope that helps.
