So I decided to try my hand at the wonderful art of video tutorial. What I've come up with is a short pipeline for those individuals, like myself, that weren't having any luck with the published tutorials elsewhere on the web.

I hope that the methods I discuss are broad enough to be of use to many people and conversely, that it's not too specific to my particular setup. In the tut. I take a sculpt made from a ZCube primative and apply GUVtiles (as a place marker) and export the model to Cinema 4D (64bit) where I give it a proper unwrap. Then I import the model back into ZBrush and apply the updates to the base model, maintaining all subdivision levels with proper UV map that can be used to make displacement/normal/texture maps.

I know this has been described elsewhere but, as I said above, I wasn't making any progress following other tutorials. I hope this helps someone out there...

My system setup is as follows:
Intel Core 2 Duo @2Ghz with 4 Gigs of RAM
ATI Radeon graphics @1Ghz
Vista Home Premium (64bit)
ZBrush 3.25
Cinema 4D R11 (64bit)

Here's the YouTube linked video: Zbrush to C4D (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ0qAf0IxWs)

*Thanks to tonysculptor for giving me the info on how to embed video!

Sorry for the late reply...I've been artistically out of touch for a bit.

Thanks for the kudos, I really hope it was useful!
