(New to Zbrush)

Could someone please email me the material baking script. I downloaded it from a page on the forums but it only seems to be half working. I have no auto bake buttons that I've seen others use. When I press start it just removes texture from my tool leaving it blank, and then places a blank new one in the texture box, with nothing in alpha. I saw that there was a tutorial somewhere but the site isn't up.

If you are trying to use it with ZBrush 3.5 it's quite likely that it won't work. ZScripts/plugins will need to be updated by their authors for the latest version of ZBrush.

I'm trying to use it for 3.1. It seems impossible to get hold of a copy of this script at the moment, with David Ikeda's site down and no other place with the download, which is why I was hoping someone could send me a copy.

Ok, I finally got hold of the baker.

That is the link to it incase anyone needs it. The link in the above post is to a script without any of the autobake functions etc, I tried that one already. The link I posted here has the script with all the functions.

Thanks for your help though... :tu:

Indeed. I didn't think it worked with anything other than zb2.

can someone tell me where I'm supposed to put this file? I downloaded it but have no idea where it goes. I put it in the zscripts folder and try to run it from Zbrush, but nothing happens.

hey johnny, you do as youve just said, put in the scripts folder and run the 2 scripts the normal one and interface one, then in zbrush there is a bottom panel with a tiny arrow like your side panels, open that bottom panel and the interface is there :)
