I would like to be able to model a futuristic symetrical vehicle in a photorealistic style. The materials options will take care of the finished piece. Either using or not the mirror MOD. Thanks for any help.

As far as the body modeling I'm not sure how to do that, but Pixolator shows you how to create some other potential car parts here

Hi Stevie Render,

Long time no talk. Listen, this is what I do. I go over to www.3dcafe.com (http://www.3dcafe.com) and download some of their free car models. I then convert them to obj (dxf ok also), bring them into ZBrush and modify them. I then take them into Photoshop and further modify them using KPT Goo filter. Take a look at this image: http://www.angelfire.com/art/dragonO/ATESTPOSTER.html
The Lambo Diablo was made in this fashion. Also, I pretty much do what Southern does. I will bring in 2 or three vehicles, modify them in ZBrush, bring them into Photoshop, put them on their own seperat layers, then remove portions of the vehicles and combine them. Or create new parts and combine them on a vehicle in Photoshop (such as the post above indicates) This is what I did with my Low Boy Coupe image posted at Pixologic's user gallery. I am sure there is away to do the same in ZBrush, but since I can move through Photoshop quickly, I do my final work there.

I hope this helps.

Dragon,
Thanks for the info and the link! I really like the work you put up there. I hope to blow the roof off anything seen in 3D so far in the car/ chick catagory. If I can accomplish with the computer what I have done with the "old fashioned airbrush" look out.
Stevie B. ;)

Hi Stevie Render,

Thank you for the compliments. As for your comment about being the best of the best with car art and chicks... as Nike states "Just do it". I would love to see some of your work. Keep in touch.

Speaking of which, I forgot your URL. Can ya give it to me again?

Talk with ya real soon my friend.

Dragon.
