Hi Deevee,

I think you have something there. The style is certainly worthy of more development. I also like the unusual composition of the piece, although it seems a little out of whack....not that that is bad, but a little tweeking on the reversed "L" shape running along the bottom, and up the right hand side of the image.....may be needed. I hasten to add however.......I wouldn't want to see it disappear altogether. And, don't forget that these are only my thoughts.....others may differ.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. That is what this forum is all about, increasing our ability to use this great program. We can never improve if we do not get critical comments, that way we can work on problem areas. All comments appreciated.

Interesting image-very watercolorish.Deevee
do you use layering at all.I didn't for along time(just never remembered it).Sometimes it can be a great asset.

Rhom, I never remember to use layering. I know that if I want to improve I will have to remember to start useing layers very soon. I personally think I should have expanded the canvas horizontally some more. It appears a bit squashed. The cliffs on the right are pretty high, and fall away almost vertically, I guess my drawing skills were not good enough to indicate this properly.

I have to agree with Ed, I'd like to see this style/material/technique explored some more.

Jumping into layering may just be the key to creating some amazing work. So bright and cool. I think you captured the Cayman's "feel" very well. :D
I love the colors.

Continue with this idea! :tu: :tu:

I really like the 'halo' effect around your fibre brush work...gives it a lovely impressionistic feel!
