Hi everybody,
Probably i'don't understand the many tutorials about this topic;
If possible and how, paint a wrinkle or bump with the texture master on to the model, without add any color or material information. When i try i need to chose a color i have the follow problem; i obtein only a "higher" sign not in deep.
For example: i have a humane face and i want paint only a wrinkle around the eyes witout change the texture color, only bump information, how do this.....
In a 3d software i obtein this only change the color in black or withe.
Thank you

You could use a negative value of colorbump in the modifiers for material. You could also use the new displacement map feature.

If it is a subtle wrinkle use a brush with a small size (2-4) and turn off Material and Colour. Snap the head into the canvas and paint the wrinkle as depth only.
There are of course a 100 different ways to do it and my preffered would be by using Color bump but see what works for you.

ZBrush currently does bumping a little differently from other programs. The bump is applied via the Color Bump in the material modifiers, so it doesn't use a separate grayscale map.
If you wish to use TextureMaster to paint such a bump map, you can do so by painting it like any other texture, but only using shades of gray. You won't be able to view the color map while you work, though, as ZBrush can only apply one texture to a model at a time. Once this map is painted, it can be exported to another program, or used in ZBrush as an alpha mask to control an Inflate deformation.
Once the displacement mapping feature has been made available in the bonus upgrade, you will have more options available to you. The new version will allow you to apply both a color texture and a grayscale bump or displacement map to the model.

Thank you,
i suppose there is no way to have in the same texture color and bump information.
If i want texture a model without put this on the canvas, i need to change the color bump slider, but i obtein only a bump (up or down).
I can't be able to have with the color bump setting in positive value bump"up" and "down" without change the color information.
Thank's to all for the reply
Happy New Year
