Hi all i have been latley, delving into the game world because my show reel needs it and as a bit of a break I thought I'd have a stab at the zbrush low poly method that the generals use. Its not low poly, in the fact that you could never get it into a game, but it does provide cleaner meshes that are much easier to manage than starting off with a 256 by 256 res mesh.
I thought that instead of showing you all the step by step after I had finished, I would make it along the way.
fig one shows the 30 second mock up of the composition that I wanted to achieve. doing this has been really helpful, as it serves as a depth aid, since zb has no side on view.
