I've made a little icon to differentiate 3.1 and 3.5 while I jump from one to the other until I am done with the current work.

...BTW where do you keep custom Icons for the OS to Find them?
I'm Using Vista 64, do you just keep 'em in the Picture folder, or is it better to put then in the Windows folder?

thanks guys :)
@sadicus: wherever, since you need to apply it by hand to a shortcut of the zbrush executable. I leave the .ico in the zbrush folder.

I asked reminator if it would be okay to post a ZBrush icon that I made to his thread, and he gave me the okay. I figured now was a good time to do it, with the new 3.5r3 release today. The icon looks like this:

Zbrush.jpg

Below is the "ZBrush_Slosh.ico" file, zipped and ready to go. To install the icon, unzip this file into a directory where you can find it again. I put mine in my ZBrush folder. If you right click on your ZBrush shortcut, select "Properties", there is an option to change icon. Select this, then navigate to the folder where you stored the new icon and choose it. That's it! Anyway, I hope some of you choose to use the icon. It's fairly basic, but I like it. The ico file has sizes from 16 to Vista ready 126, hi definition icons that look great on your desktop or taskbar. Thanks.

Thanks to those who responded. I don't know if anyone is interested, but I made a series of icons in this style for various software and applications. I was going to try to make one for everything I could think of, but I got bored ;)

These look really great on the taskbar for Windows 7.

I don't own all of these apps, but I wanted to present a complete package to anyone interested. If you would like a zip file of these icons, I can provide one. Just let me know. Yes, I did use the trademark icons of these apps, but put them in a fisheye bubble, so I can't take too much credit for their creation. If I'm violating any rules by sharing these, someone let me know. Here are the icons that I currently have:
