Pixologic,
I dont know how to say it, but rather than many thanks! I purchased Zbrush back at ver 1.55b (I think) just before ver 2 came out as it was going to be a free upgrade. I downloaded Ver 2, thought it was interesting but just never had the time to work with it. I have been through several computers since this time and have lost my information, yet you were able to find me and let me know of a free upgrade to the version i have. I dont know how you are able to give free upgrades since version 2.0, but is amazing and very much appreciated!
great software, great price, great support, great forums and of course AMAZING work done with your app! keep up the great work! looking forward to playing with the new version and rediscovering Zbrush.
maybe i've got a strange question... but, where can I downoad a new (3.5) ZBrush version? Thanks, Slayer!
Sigh... I think someone needs to add "Wait for your damn email notification if you've prevously bought ZBrush 3" in the first post of this thread.

maybe i've got a strange question... but, where can I downoad a new (3.5) ZBrush version? Thanks, Slayer!I purchased a new license from cleverbridge and had it downloaded and installed in 2 minutes. I guess the link is only for new purchases but I didn't save the link.
Still waiting for my email ... but have a question for those who have already received it ...
Does the upgrade show up in your account in the Pixologic Support section? Reason I ask is it's been known in the past that I haven't received some emails, and try as I may to reset my spam filter there are still things that don't come through. I'm hoping that if the email got lost in the ether I'll still be able to download from my account.
Thanks!I don't get any download links in Support section, only in Cleverbridge emails. What I think that they aren't connected as on Cleverbridges email there is a mention that download link expires in 14 days.

Hmm... still no email!!! And here in Italy it's 23.53 of 11 September.
I'm asking me if Cleverbridge is managing european clients with its german HQ: it should be faster if they divide customers according their residence!
Uff!

Thank you, for answer me for a question... Slayer!
Still nothing at 3pm PT. Email begins with "T". However, based on the support center, it looks like their having problems with Web activations, so I'm sort of in waiting for the "problems cropped up . . . wait a few more days . . ." message mode.
Pretty disappointing that every roll out since 1.5, I have had to call Pixologic to get my upgrade . . . you'd think they'd have worked out how to distribute upgrades by now . . .

I went though most threads and I have not seen any date for the Mac release. ("By the end of september" ... )
Anyone has the info ?

Yeah thats a bummer about the Mac version. If Pixo is so off the mark when they actually give a date then I really hate to think when it will actually be released for the Mac.
I was hopping that they were going to surprise us by releasing the two closer together but we will have to wait and see now.
I am very pleased that it is out in some capacity however: I can see no reason why anybody would use anything other than zbrush now; so it just serves to strengthen our community that much more.
Still waiting...

I agree with the Mac deal... I bought a second license for Windows as it must be almost 2 yrs now that a percentage of the plugins were not available on the Mac side... little better now and the GOZ for mac experiment (wonders if the mac users were more guinea pigs than lucky first receivers)
I think 3.5 is great! I would also think this application has to be developed on the both platforms equally and released together.
It is a professional era now and with the likes of large companies like Autodesk (love them or hate them) Pixo needs to perform and act like the big boys on these major releases.
The old .... When is the mac version out? Oh GOZ on mac only? Oh this plugin for PC not mac is getting really boring.
Great Release! Love to see it on mac in September but will play on my PC till then.

Still waiting also. My original email started with Z :( (i.e. zbrush@domain.com) but I called them yesterday to have it updated to a gmail one that starts with D. Maybe changing it pushed me to the bottom of the stack; but I would have been there anyway if it were alphabetical...

I got mine at 3:30 pm Chicago time. My e-mail starts with P. Thank you Pixologic!!!
I'm hoping to get my email before 6 pm, or I will contact support. :p
I haven't gotten mine either so I'm just going to go ahead and contact them. It's nearly 5pm PST - not sure what's end of business for Pixologic but I have a feeling that's it and the two day wait period's just about up by my count.
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Woke up this morning to the email in my inbox, i'm just like a kid on christmas morning at the moment! This update is AWESOME!
Thank you to all the people at pixologic for all their hard work! You guys rock!
Well, good things come to those who wait!:D
I got my email and ZBrush 3.5 is up and running on my computer.
Not going to get much sleep this weekend!

I think it doesn't matter what your name is or your email. I think it's just randomly pulling names out it's arse. Too bad mines embedded deep in the colon of cleverbridge. 8:30 pm est and still no mail :(
Cleverbridge IS still sending links out. They will keep going until all have been sent. That includes during the weekend.

fairly sure now it's first letter of email addys. can't be a coincidence people with M start shouting they got it , then N , then P , then R ..
Well, my last name begins with B and I haven't received anything either. Called Cleverbridge, the guy was of no help, in fact gave me the phone number to Microsoft instead of Pixologic. He said Pixologic was sending out the emails and I would need to talk to them. Called Pixologic, guy didn't seemed to pleased to be getting calls about the emails. He said they're still sending them out and that if hasn't arrived by the end of the weekend to send them a support ticket.
I dont think it makes any different what name. Mine begins with R, and I havent received anythink yet. Do they actualy work on Sat?

Maybe I missed it, but does anybody know what's up with the mouse behavior? I used to be able to draw a tool onto the canvas without accidentally drawing tons of them or using them as a 2D brush. Now, that's all it does, even a simple RMB click.

cook. thats the side "benefit" of using the rmb as a navigation tool..
after drawing a single object use the spacebar to go the rmb menu and then go into edit mode. or just press the edit button or hotkey right after drawing the object once onto the canvas.

RMB navigation is:
RMB = rotate
Alt + RMB = Move
Alt +Ctrl = Scale
Alt + RMB + let go of Alt = Scale
Left mouse Navigation hasn't changed for those of us who prefer it. :)

has anyone figured out if floor, perspective and y rotate can all be configured to be on as a default, as they offer a much more traditional navigational option?

Firstly, thankyou Pixologic, 3.5 is awesome so many improvements and new additions it's like getting ZBrush all over again!!!
I have one question regarding plugins...will plugins such as decimation master and subtool master still work with 3.5, i've resisted the temptation to download them again from the Pixo site in fear of ruinning my current state of happiness and excitement and buggering up the new version.
My appologies if this question has been answered. :)

Hi,
Just finished my first playabout session with the new release. It is nothing short of stunning, awesome, amazing. THe new additions help me flow even faster, ideas sparking in my mind, new possibilities a reality. Zsketching is going to be the new inspiration tool, making them into PM3D to work over once shape and form has been settled on. Letting go of what you want to build and just sitting back and flowing with whatever comes.. screw topology, and poly counts!(thanks for the additional max poly !!!!! love you long time) Really enjoy the way i can move zspheres anywhere and the react and merge, wow.
Just checked out the zclassroom videos on zsphere2, new brushes and noise (this feature is so amazing) .. Im blown away. Thanks for posting these, very helpful :)
So ZB is the best software package ive ever bought, and that was years ago when 3.1 came out... I never thought i would be sitting here seeing this package (i think it deserve more then that definition... its a defining point in every creative that uses it. A direct connection to the minds eye!). I have certainly got my money's worth!
Concept art is about to explode as the boundaries between 2d/3d get smoothed together, character art in film and games will become so much better, shapes and forms explored. Hard surfacing, props, environments, 2d painting (Paintstop is amazing!) .. be prepared to see an EXPLOSION as we all start moving into a new dimension of creativity!
As an Illustrator, Concept, 3D artist i really have no need to move out of zbrush for the majority of my work flow now.. but then hey, even when i do need to, its gonna be through GoZ , or zapplink .. genius.
Im so very excited to sit down and start learning these new and wonderful tools. Im going to start my first Zbrush Central Sketch book and share with all my explorations..
This update has sold me for any future purchases Pixologic team, already put the cash aside :D
Thankyou pixologic for working so hard, and pushing the boundaries on how we all can flow with our inspirations, ideas and creativity. Its makes me so very happy.
Kind Regards and a lot of respect

ZBrush 3.5 is a self-contained folder which simply needs to be unzipped and placed in your preferred location (usually in the folder where you have 3.1 and other applications installed)

I have a 64-bit machine so I tried putting 3.5 in both places:
C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush 3.5
and
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 3.5
When I put in my authorization number, I get the error "License activation failed!"
My existing copy of ZBrush 3.1 is installed:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush3
I have to run both versions of ZBrush as administrator, or else it fails to run. With ZBrush 3.1 I had to run as administrator just to register. The same process isn't working for 3.5.I used web activation and it worked fine. There was some confusion about enter key versus web activation.

Well, the software is amazing! But unfortunately, Transpose Master and Subtool Master aren't working, which is making the use of this to continue projects very difficult. I'm really glad that it installs beside 3.1 instead of on top of 3.1 cause I can use both to do my stuff till Pixologic gets those issues mended.
I just love the simple things, the Lightbox (tip: extend its useability by placing shortcuts in the ZBrush folder), the Floor Grid and improved perspective. And of course, ZSpheres II!
The kind of quality and ingenuity that emits from Pixologic is astounding. They are really changing the face of what it means to create in 3D. Even when it seems as if with enough time and skill, one could already create anything; Pixologic has highlighted what we couldn't do yet, and given over the tools to make it happen.

You may click on the bottom border of LightBox to resize the icons (this feature will be more important in Z4 with LightBox web access).

I tried out the online-registration but nothing happend until yet. no e-mail, no activation code. Then i tried the e-mail-activation, but only got an answer to try the phone-activation. So i did, but no way to reach someone

I activate ZBrush from Web, no problem.
Next time I start up ZBriush, it tells me that it has not be activated...
I have done this five times now... what gives???
Fix addressed in Support Center does not apply.
Problem does not happen every time that close ZBrush down.
I also notice that where in ZBrush 3.1 my name was enclosed within brackets at upper left corner of canvas, above the menu selections. ZBrush 3.5 displays what appears to be XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX type serial code...
Please advise
NOTE:As long as I am connected to internet, I can open/close ZBrush as many times as I want. As soon as I go offline from internet, I need to reactivate ZBrush everytime that it starts.

William

Yee-haw! Mine came through while I was at work today. Had to take it for a test spin, didn't get to try it much, but the new features seem very responsive and intuitive. Also I clocked a model up to about 5M polys, and it was still smooth as butter. 3.1 used to get sirup'y and choppy in its performance around 2M polys on my system.
but it keeps saying my sn is invalid so i have to wait until monday blah!

Typical.......am I the only zbrush user who didn t get an upgrade e mail?...looks like it. Sending a ticket in supports about as useful as an ash tray on a harley davidson ...sigh...:( :( :( :( :( :( :(
I too struggled with activation. Web Activation didn't work; Phone Activation went through to an operator who could only give me tech support's phone number (and didn't want to even try a phone activation). I was already running late for work, and I knew support would have their hands full that morning without my call, so I let it rest.
Long story short, I found the solution here:
https://support.pixologic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=24
* delete Zactivation.zsc
* launch ZBrush
* hit the web activation button
* it will say you've already registered, and give you the same code that hasn't been working.
* there will be a link on that page, I don't remember what the text said, but it gives you a new code and sends you a new Zactivation file.
* ignore the new Zactivation file. That method clearly doesn't work for you.
* copy the new code, go back into ZBrush, hit the "Enter Code" button (or whatever it's called) and paste.
* that time should work for you.
(it worked for me, anyway)
Hope that helps!

Zbrush just sits there and hangs on me. It doesn't even pop up the screen. There is the bar at the bottom saying ZBrush in my taskbar but that is about it. It will not open. Any ideas?
Make sure to run ZB as administrator (or check the "run as administrator" box in the Zbrush.exe properties.)

Am I the only person that hasn't gotten the new upgrade activation code yet? I've been registered with ZBrush "Pixo Support" since January 07. I haven't' complained about anything and have been totally understanding about the whole hurry up and wait process... not that that matters to one ****ing soul.
But...
I just saw a twitter post that said:
I just got my upgrade email for ZB 3.5, now what do I do? And I'm starting to see alot of cool posts...
Just getting sick of this **** and need to vent!
Whatever...

Holy Mamma, I just flew past my original Multithreaded increase of 155% in ZBrush 3.5 by looking at the "Preferences>Performance>Multithreaded Steps".
For some reason, it was set to 2. The default should be 6.
I set it to 6 and did the Multithread Test again and....
Multithreading resulted in a 243.00% speed increase.
(versus my 3.1 increase of 59.79%) (so 4x faster now)

Is there going to be a proper installer at some point to install the program similar to 3.1?
I think there's instruction in the "READ ME FIRST" PDF that tells you how to fix that.

For those who have used it, is the freeze bug fixed? You know, the one where if you pull up the spacebar or right click menu while sculpting (or something like that) would freeze zbrush and basically not allow you to save or do anything. Also is the bug where your brush settings are carried over to another brush if you alt clicked on the model before you change settings, fixed? These two things annoyed the hell out of me.

That's going to be true for most of us.
Search for a thread where people are discussing that problem, and ask there if 3.5 resolved it.

We are updating the plugins for 3.5 and release these as soon as they are ready.
Here is one more tip...
You may click on the bottom border of LightBox to resize the icons (this feature will be more important in Z4 with LightBox web access).
I'll be waiting for the plug ins.
I guess I have to reinstall my custom brushes etc.
No Help button?
This really helps as I just started learning zbrush three weeks ago. Can't wait to check out scketching zpheres.

I also really really love the hard surfaces brushes. They are really good and are so useful. They solve the problems I have been having with trying to model hard surfaces in ZBrush. Thanks to Pixologic for another great release.
For those having install probs, there is a fix included in the 3.5 folder, my machine didnt like the exe after the first go but before you panic and start mailing Pixologic have a look in the troubleshoot folder, theres a small install 'fix' exe which will sort you out, then it should launch zb 3.5 ready to set up your license which is easy to do....
I have a question that have been asked already but I didnt want to look thru 45 pages and that is when will Multi dis and ZMapper be released for this version or can we use the ZB3 versions?

DE3 and zmapper were never released for version 3.2 on the mac. The functionality to create displacement/normal maps is now built into 3.2/3.5 so these plugins are not required. Don't expect to see them again.

I got my update link today after submitting a ticket to support. Go to the support page and do as i did. I picture pixo head quarters as being a frantic and overwhelmed place but they are answering tickets and trying to sort things out.
I did have..and still have installation issues but im getting there. I understand that vista could be the biggest fly in the ointment along with some issues pixo are sorting out. Its such a pain but worth it though I cant actually use 3.5 in my workflow yet until the plug ins get tweaked and re released by pixologic.

I couldn't agree more. I really like the speed and the seeming stability improvements (only time will tell on the stability score,) and the interface enhancements are quite nice, but as a tool in my current project it just isn't all that useful until the painting workflow, posing workflow, etc... has been brought back up to speed with the plugins.
I am slowly figuring out how to manually do some stuff that I was spoiled by with plugins in 3.1 and I actually figured out a workflow to sculpt in 3.5 and then get the information back into 3.1 with the subdivision levels intact so it's nice to know I can use the new brushes or tools like the noise feature if I need them in the current project, but I am still doing most of my work in 3.1.

Mr. Natural, i had the same E-Mail, though i own the MacVersion ...
I got my upgrade information but I had to fill out a ticket and then go back and check the ticket to see if they answered it. I think they may be using my email address I had when I bought ZB back when it was version 1.2. I don't if there is a way for me to get that changed to my current email? I have corrected all my email address I use with ZB but I think they still use the original one to generate the license number.

A NOTE FOR MACINTOSH USERS:
Mac users - who received temporary Windows license while waiting for ZBrush 3 to be released for the Macintosh - may receive an upgrade link for ZBrush 3.5 Windows. If you are a Mac user who has not purchased a Windows ZBrush license, do not use the upgrade link that was emailed to you. Doing so will prevent you from being able to upgrade your Mac license when ZBrush 3.5 is released for the Macintosh.
If the previous paragraph applies to you, please submit a ticket at http://support.pixologic.com (http://support.pixologic.com/) so that we can clear the Windows license off your account and re-activate your Mac license. Do this whether or not you have redeemed the upgrade.

Hey guys,
Well several people want to know how to do this and thankfully its a pretty easy setup. I am using dual boot with 2 hard drives in slide trays. I avoid having Windows and Linux on the same hard drive because the 2 OSes will fight with each other for instance Linux will balance windows Inodes on start up and shutdown if you have both OSes on the same hard drive through a series of checks and balances and Windows does not do this so it can cause side effects in Windows. I installed the ZB3.5 in windows and did the web activation and got it fully working in windows first. I am using Windows XP 64 bit.
Then I rebooted into Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit Linux. I mounted my Windows hard drive by going to the Places menu and selecting the hard drive for windows. You must have wine already install if you do not simply go get wine with the Applications->Add/Remove. We need to run the terminal I can not get it to work by clicking it graphically for some reason but it seems to love the terminal so that works for me. Go to Applications->Accessories->Terminal and now type cd /media and hit enter. Your windows disk is mounted here.
You can see what is in the directory by typing ls. A cool trick to learning the Linux shell commands quickly is the fact that they are normally the first letter of multiple words or every other letter if its a single word. For instance cd is change director and ls is list. If the directory you are trying to go to has multiple words in it like Program Files you must put that directory in "" when you cd into that directory. Example cd "Program Files" Keep using cd until you reach the ZBrush.exe for ZBrush3.5. Once you do you can then type wine ZBrush.exe and it will run.
To make this easier so that you don't have to type all of this each time you want to run ZB3.5 in Linux through wine type the command pwd in the terminal when you have changed directory to where the ZBrush.exe resides for ZBrush 3.5. This will give you your whole directory. Now run Applications->Accessories->Text Editor and put the following shell commands into the text editor. Make sure you put your directory that you got from the pwd command after the cd instead of mine in this script and put quotes around it.
#!/bin/bash
# Your cd then the pwd directory from above in quotes below is my directory to my windows mounted hard drive.
cd "/media/disk/Program Files/Pixologic/ZBrush 3.5"
wine ZBrush.exe
Now save this as say ZBrush3.5.sh into your home directory. Now go to Places->Home Folder. In the Terminal type cd $HOME and this will bring you back to your home directory. Type ls to see what is in your home directory you should now see the ZBrush3.5.sh script that we just created. Now type chmod 0770 ZBrush3.5.sh This command sets the permissions for the file for the user group and everyone giving the user read write and execute permissions, the group read write and execute permissions, and everyone else no permissions. Now your script is executeable. Now in your Home Directory window left click drag the ZBrush3.5.sh shell script and then hold down Alt key also drop it on your desktop. A pop up box will come up asking you what you want to do at this point select link. For those that are familar with shell script you can use the ln command if you wish of course. I just think it is easier to drag and drop the file.
Now running ZB3.5 is easy for now on all you have to do is go to Places and then select your windows hard drive to mount it. Then double click your link to your ZBrush3.5.sh shell script on your desktop and an option box will popup and you select Run In Terminal and ZBrush 3.5 will launch. Also if you like you can right click on your ZBrush3.5.sh link on your desktop and select properties and assign you own cool looking logo image for ZBrush by clicking on the icon image on the left hand side in the window and then selecting an image of your choice. Below attached is an image with ZBrush 3.5 running on my Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit. :) ;)

I tend not to do this because wine has all of the files to work with when you have a program already installed in windows for translating the windows code into a Linux program on the fly. So since it has more windows files to work with you typically get better results when running and using wine in Linux. If you try to install directly into wine you might not end up with all of the files you need to run XYZ program. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not because you have missing files typically. You can try it who knows it might work. I just know this works for sure.
To the Mac user you can run Linux programs on your Mac since your OSX is a unix. So if you install wine on your Mac there is a pretty good chance you can follow my instructions and have Windows ZBrush 3.5 running on your mac with out having to wait for the Mac version. ;) :) Only I suspect it will be more difficult on the mac because you are not going to have the easy download install system that Ubuntu linux has. All of the shell commands will work though as you are using Unix and the shells are identical. :) ;) :P So you can probably forget about going to the mountain for your mac you will probably have to go to the Moon to pull the samething off. lol :P ;) Just a joke.
Cheers,
Nate Nesler

I dont know if this means anything, but I am using 64 bit windows 7, and have no issues running the download.
Hi Zaphod,
My pc runs on a 64-bit Vista system. When I tried to run the ZBrush.exe file, nothing happened but I got a message that there was something wrong with the side-by-side configuration. I submitted a ticket to support and they came up with a solution that was build in all along: in your 3.5. folder there is a folder named "Troubleshoot help". I followed the instructions in that map (see the txt file) and it worked!

thank you very much,so I need install 3.5 on windows first,this is must?We can't directness install zbrush in linux system,then use wine running***65311;The use of wine will not reduce system speed***65311;
And,MatrixNaN,maybe your snapshot lose your license info, delete it please.
I was able to install and run ZBrush directly in Ubuntu via Wine. All I had to do was run the vcredist_x86_VS2008_sp1.exe file once first and then run ZBrush.
At startup it seems as if the app crashed, but it takes a minute to get running.
The only thing you can't do is activate online but I got an activation code via email the same day.
I've really only played with ZSpheres, Surface Noise, and the new Planar brushes but it all has worked so far. Its a little slow but I'm running it in a VM and it was the same on a VM with XP.
Also, I think I remember one of the Pixologic guys saying that the info isn't your license info and is harmless. I checked mine and it doesn't match my activation request or code. Probably safest to blur it out though.

I tried running it on a Mac with Darwine initially but didn't have any luck. After creating a link to the executable in Ubuntu I saw similar errors and think I know what the problem is. So I'm going to try again with Darwine today and if that fails maybe try compiling Wine myself.
Activation went like a charm ! I had my support account yet, so everything was fine in there. Got my activation code, inserted it and bang, ZB ready to work.;)

I actually gave Pixo a call and they were helpful, but they basically told me that my name wasn't on the auto-update list and that its got to be manually done, and the girl that does that is totally swamped.
I felt like such a jerk calling because we all know how busy they are, but everyone was getting responses to their tickets and I wasn't. Thanks go out to whoever I spoke to on the phone, I could tell he really was not excited to hear from me but was very helpful! I'll sit here patiently now.

I got it to run with Darwine and web activation.
I ran into a problem where when launching ZBrush complained about not being able to open files at "Z:\APPLICATIONS\DARWINE\WINEHELPER.APP\CONTENT\RES OURCES/ZResources\Images/"
Turns out you have to run wine from the directory in which you "installed" the ZBrush executable. So in terminal you have to cd to that directory and then run wine from Darwine's Wine.bundle. So once you're in the directory run "/Applications/Darwine/Wine.bundle/Contents/bin/wine ZBrush.exe"
To do web activation you have to grab the activation request code from an email activation request and then build the appropriate URL and plug that in your browser.
Also, I ran into a problem with ZBrush not being able to write to a Tempfiles directory under ZStartup even though everything had read and write permissions so I just created the directory and it seemed to be okay.
Just messed around with it so far, but after a slow startup it seems pretty peppy. The only issues I've run into so far are:
Lightbox doesn't work
Command key functions as Alt key. I didn't see a way to change this.
Resizing the window screws keyboard input.
All my memory doesn't seem to be recognized.
Obviously not the preferred way to go about it but if you have a Windows license and Mac and can't wait for the Mac version, it can be done. :D
This is only if you PAID for a permanent Windows license, not if you received a temporary Windows license while waiting for ZBrush 3 for the Mac.
Is it correct that none of the plug-ins work with 3.5? Like Zapplink and Decimation Master etc?

Digging the new update :) One thing I'm noticing, I dunno, if anyone else is having this problem but while I'm zoomed into my model and sculpting on it using the clay tubes brush adding and taking away, the model will randomly pop away, basically what happens when you press the "frame" button. I know if you hold down alt and tap on the canvas you get the same effect but my brush/cursor is nowhere near being on the canvas. I didn't have this problem with 3.1. Anyone else having this happen? Any workarounds?

Still waiting for my upgrade. It's coming, I can feeeel it.Still? Check your Support Center account. Make sure that your Cleverbridge & other info are all okay. If it's not, fix it. That could be why you don't have it yet.
I'd also check out your spam or trash folders in your e-mail. The upgrade link could be in there for all you know.
If your support info checks out okay and it's not in spam/trash, well, you should have already should have received your upgrade e-mail. At least that's my guess.
IIRC, we were told that we shouldn't start sending in support tickets about the upgrade e-mail until 2 or 3 days after they started going out. That period of time has elapsed. I'd probably send in a ticket and try to sort it all out.

I'm running Vista 64bit. Can anyone advise What I am doing wrong?1)Run the vcredist_x86.exe file from the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush3\Troubleshoot Help" directory. If, for some reason it's not there or still doesn't work, just get it at MS' site. Make sure that it's the 2008 version and not the older 2005.
2)Make sure that your ZB is running as admin.
That should do it.
