View Full Version : FatBrain
This work is not completed yet, but I'd like to share.
I'm working on Fatbrains. Fatbrains have tiny brains and need to cut out human brains for their living. They have to bring brain machines everywhere they go.

DoB, I really love your modelling and texturing. but what catches my eye more is the mobility and expression of this pic.
also, I quite like your obsession with the human brain.

Now you're talking. The mix of mechanical and fluid organic shapes is very articulate and beautiful. For this reason this so far, could very well be the best pic I have ever seen on this forum, I can see where you're going and I am looking forward.
I can see that you are going to raise the bar quite a few notches.
Outstanding
Damn fine ZBrushing dob.Excellent work, great details, texture and coloring.I especially enjoy the thought process your working here.
Love the title.
The illustrative quality is outstanding!!
What a strange and compelling story. Wish I could turn a page and see more. :D :tu:

loved yer pic.....and cant think of much to say that hasnt been said....Keep on Z-ing
Your landscape is as compelling as the contraption, which is very well modeled and textured. My only suggestions here would be to maybe add a subtle alpha to break up the uniformity of the fog, and to change the specularity of the "brain cell" (sorry, couldn't resist) so that the brain inside is more easily identified.
You're really doing some neat stuff since you first appeared here out of the blue with a masterpiece. Keep it up!
Damn, everyone's said what I wanted to say, but I just couldn't leave this page without saying what a great picture this is turning out to be!
Go for it dOb! (Department of Brains??)
Hmmm... brains....yum
Upham :)
This is coming out great, I love the way combined elements....... a fav are the little guys flying in the background lol

It's still not completed and... this is not the image that I've talked about before. I'm in some kind of foreplay state :)
Happy new year.

I love the details on that metalic object.
Foreplay, huh? From what you've said about this guy's lifestyle, I hope for your sake that you intend to practice safe ZBrushing. :D
Seriously, you're producing some really neat stuff. It looks like you've started playing around with the fog modifiers to good effect, too!
Hello Aurick,
There's nothing a thing like a good constructive crit :) Remember the words below ? :)

Yep, I played the graph and used alpha.

this is a terrific pic already, DoB, and a MIP, as it seems... its a pleasure to watch the new developments and i sure hope, that you enjoy foreplay and we will see mucho like this one. i esp. love the movement and dynamics in it, the multitude of details, the pond - but i miss those neato butterflies in v. 2! :D and manymany :tu:s

Juandel,
