Those planar brushes in 3.5 seem awesome and ZSpheresII look like a great addition for free form sculpting.

And I cannot wait to test GoZ for modo !

Well, the Pixologic and Zclassroom sites are down, probably for a major rearrange...I'm going to go to breakfast, where I will grip the tabletop and fight back tears of impatience while my food goes cold in front of me and people stare.

My guess is, the sites will be down so people don't crash the support site looking for their update. ...first time I've ever been at the mercy of an e-mail. Interesting.

I got my e-mail YEAH! and THANKS ZB!! I'm so excited to crack it open but I ran into a problem...I downloaded the zip and extracted to C: Program Files while keeping folder names intact and when I hit the ZBrush.exe it keeps giving me an error....I am sure I am doing something silly here has anyone else had this issue or know what I am doing wrong by chance?

If your running on vista,you have to right click the executable file and run as administrator.If that fails go to the troubleshooting folder and run the programme in there.Then do as I said ..Thats if your running on vista..

I have now redownloaded and reinstalled it like 8 times LOL and I just keep getting it. Do I have to uninstall ZBrush 3 first? or install it in the same folder as 3? I did what it said but there's got to be something I'm doing wrong LOL

What do you do if you think that yahoo's spam filter got it. That happens about half the time. It alway eats the ones from Pixologic support as well. :( I Dont see why they just didn't make it available through the http://support.pixologic.com website. Would have made a lot more sense.

Mine says that the email that i used isn't correct!!! It's what cleverbridge has on file, but when i bought it it was element 5. Don't know what the issue is but pixo said they would call me backn in 15min.

Still havnt gotten my upgrade yet... Did they include Zpaint in it? Just not worried yet dont have a contract to work on. But are Zspheres any easier to work with in 3.5 like they showed in the video?

yes zsperesare awesome now even not counting zspheres2 , the regular old school style z spheres work now, like you can just make a hand and they will work, without jumpting thru hoops,,

it isnt from cleverbridge.. i got that one ... about 3 days ago.. this is something youre supposed to put into the 3.5
theres an attachment on the mail...
just want to check before i open anything.

Yes, I did recieve that, but it should be from Pixologic. And, it the attached file should be named "ZActivation.zsc"

It wasn't necessary in my case to place the emailed file into the program folder, since I had earlier activated ZB3.5 online with my provided serial number and ZBrush created the file automatically for me.

*it is just a simple text file with your serial number in it.

Can someone explain to me how he painted the spheres on the shrimp, without making new strokes to color it? I know you can colorize the model, and choose a color, and the new strokes will be of that color, but I didn't know you could just 'airbrush' the spheres you've already created.

same way you colour your model without changing the shape.

right click. turn off Zadd and just keep rgb. should work.

Why would they release it if they have a handfull of bugs to sort out with the PC version. And then there is GoZ, who knows what issues are with that still?

I have the PC version, and im not even using it untill they get it fixed. If they mannage to push the Mac version out even in the first week on October, id be amazed.

theres so much work that goes into each release. working weekends ( regardless if their offices are closed or not ), staying up till 3 every day, etc, and all they get is spat on by a bunch of brats cuz they didn't get their cookie on time.

Considering not only how powerful Zbrush is and how it revolutionized 3d, but that they do free upgrades is unheard of. Out of all of my programs, Zbrush has made me the happiest of all. Take your time, I like all of the new stuff in 3.5 but the plugins work great in 3.1 and I stick with that until they can catch up, which is fine.

how to i get the sketch zspheres to have that light airbrushed colour on them without colouring the whole model,I want to be able to have my aperature to be white while i draw the zsketch spheres in a different colour.

Lookin to buy or order my first copy of ZBRUSH (3.5) , I understand it is download only , is it possible to get a back up CD (media copy) with it sent out . I got maya in cd format when purchased and installed/registered manually , why not for Zbrush , maybe its just me but when i spend the money i like to have the actual product in hand to show for it .
