I never get any email notifications..

Does anyone here get any email notifications from threads?
I've never gotten any at all, and I do have instant email notification set in my options, and have had it like that since I signed up here.
I have to bookmark threads I'm interested in or have posted in, just to be able to follow them.
Is the feature just broken, or what?
I don't have any spam filters, and I get emails from everywhere else without problems.

It works perfectly to me. I always receive email notification of the threads I'm subscribed.

I think bicc329 is probably right. :D

Something wrong though. When I first signed up here I had to get a mod to do something to allow me to post, even after I had been "approved". I don't know if that could have anything to do with it.

you could try to reregister with a new/similar username and a different email address and see if that helps.

I've gone through everything many times, in my email client as well as my settings from my ISP.
I think I'll just try what spaceboy suggests and open a whole new account and see what happens.

OK, so I figured before creating a new account I'd try to change my email address. So I did that.
Afterward, I got a message saying I had to wait for a confirmation email to reactivate my account.
Two days later, still no email, I sent a message to the webmaster asking for help and explaining my situation, that I had still not received a reactivation email. Two days after that I got a reply back saying that my account was reset and that I wouldn't have had to message them if I had only followed the instructions and replied to the reactivation email.
Yes, the reactivation email that never arrived. ;)

And I'll repeat that I have no spam filters turned on, at all, and I get plenty of email from everywhere else at all my email addresses. The email I used is from my ISP, not some freebie like hotmail or gmail, and is very reliable.
I have no blocked senders list.

I replied back that I had to go through this exact same thing when I first signed up last year - had to contact someone to activate my account manually.

I have no idea what could cause all this, but clearly something is amiss.

Now I wait and see if I get an email notification if someone replies to this...
If I weren't such a nice guy I'd just spam the forums with pointless commentary, hoping to increase my chances at getting a notification.
One, just one is all I ask. I'll even print it out and frame it. ;)

I just did though, so I guess we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
BTW, I didn't get a notification for this post either. I just came back here to see if there had been any replies.
It's a good thing I don't post a whole lot, else it would be hard to keep track of it all. ;)
