This is my first post to the list. Just wanted to say hello after lurking for about a week. After surfing the website and being VERY favorably impressed by the quality and variety of the works presented in the galleries, I tried the demo and began reading the manual, this list, and many of the quicklinks.

I decided to go for it so I got the full version. Wow! Talk about thinking "out of the box"!!

I have a background in mechanical design using CAD programs, and for enjoyment and artistic outlet have used several different 3D modeling/rendering/animation packages, but nothing quite like this. It's very challenging to understand the in's & out's of this baby. I'm looking forward to getting a handle on it.

As for the list, the major impression is that this is a great group of people - very creative and adventurous, very supportive of each other and honoring the things that make each one special.

As I struggled to try modeling my first head, I bounded off some "what if" thing in the masking section and made this odd looking head. I'm usually prone to improvi-Z-ation more than full planning so who knows what could happen?

Keep up the good works and vibes and thanks for being here everyone.

You folks are too kind (not really). I was wondering if this kind of heart was a retro fantasy?
It seems to me there are still places in this world where everything one says is not the subject of ironic sarcasm or derision...

I'm truly amazed. Let me not blow the magic by uttering any falsehood or belief in the darkside.
