My first obj made in artofillusion, converted to quads in wings, imported and finished in Zbrush. Still don't understand how to texture using texture master "rhino" tut, but will keep trying to understand UV cords. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200305/user_image-1052148245tgn.jpg

Hi Sprite
Watch the rhino tut once time by day and you will discover his powerful power !
Great colored Fortune teller

Hey SpriteD! Nice illustration :)
Today after downloading the new TextureMaster RevG, I decided to just try it out on my own (I have already watched the tutorial a few times).
I loaded the script, made a Sphere3d which I dented up in Edit mode before clicking the "Drop" button on the TextureMaster control panel -- it's actually very easy to use! :ex: :)
You can even edit the mesh in between painting, use the Stencil while painting, etc.
I generally only needed to use a few shortcut keys:
G: drop the object to canvas for painting
G: pick it back up into 3d mesh mode*
T: toggle Edit-mesh mode on/off
R: rotate
S: for brush size
When you pick the object back up into 3d mode, it comes back with Edit turned on, so if you want to rotate it before painting some more, you have to press T (Edit off) then R to get the gyro.
Some visual indicators: brush appearing as white circle means you are in painting mode (pixols), circle with red dot in the middle shows that you are in Edit mode with a 3d mesh.
Having played around with it, I think I will watch the tutorial again for the other tips and tricks included :)
*NOTE: The TM script uses a Marker to recreate the 3d object -- that's how it apparently gets around the fact that when you drop something to the canvas and it turns into pixols, you can't Undo to get back into 3d mesh mode.
