Don't try to do everything and learn everything all at once. You will drive yourself nuts! Start simple, and try one thing first then practice it. Then try something else. Use the appropriate tutorials first and then try it on your own. When you run a script, be sure to set the delay otherwise it will go too fast.
Relax & have fun! You'll feel better when you succeed with your first pic.

Hi ZBrushing, I'm a newbie as well and nowhere near knowing all aspects of ZBRUSH's options. But I found watching Zscripts very helpful. Seeing how someone else starts out doing a nose, mouth and so on gave me ideas how to begin my own modelling. I also practiced with a few tutorials. Mostly I learned by diving in and trying things myself by trial and error. A couple of things I had a problem with at first were going out of "edit mode" accidentally and having my work become uneditable. Also saving my work incorrectly and reopening later, only to have it uneditable again. After I learned to save my object as a tool under the tool menu and knowing that if I went out of edit mode accidentally I could clear my palette and redraw out my object back out by using the copy of it in the small tool window, it became easier. It may be a little frustrating at first, but after you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun.
Good luck. :)

i agree just start out with the basics. like learning how to use the program.and then try to other things.. dont get burned out and give up,.. have fun and learn all you can. trust me you wont regret it..
hi, welcome to zbrush. do not be frustrated. you will very soon see that zbrush is the best program you can get for doing any kind of graphics :p
what i did when i got it, was to chosse my favorite script, which were the head modeling tuts, and try to reproduce that. it took me just a few trials... then i did the rusted idol tut, for learning materials, ... that way you easily learn the tools and see zbrush is all fun.

There is some error message box in ZBrush demo. Does full version have some error message box? My computer has Windows XP, AMD Athlon Processor 1.19GHz, 256 MB of RAM and Free Space 13.3GB, Total Size 28.4 GB Harddrive.
It would help if you told us exactly what the error message says. :)

I am not sure where exactly I click on. I was play around in ZBrush without follow steps in ZBrush and error message shows up. Have anyone report to you about it? If nobody reports then maybe I should use full version instead of demo. Problem may be come from my harddrive. Maybe I have to get new harddrive with enough space. First ,I will try check out with ZBrush full version. :)

In order to maintain full compatibility between Mac and PC, right-clicking in ZBrush does not do anything. However, I have not heard of it crashing the program before.

That's different. When I right click in zbrush I get a context menu that pops up. I wonder why he's having the problem?

I am wondering who is ZBrush programmer? ZBrush programmer could know everything in ZBrush. Then why not he or she make ton of scripts for us. Heh.
I dont know why it crash the program in my computer. Probably it hates me.
I am going to look around in people's artworks that came with tutorial. I want to be big time serious artist. I have tons of creative in my mind. I cant wait to be understandfully and able to work on ZBrush. :)
