Just a little scene I did while trying to figure out the fiber brush. All of the grass, plants, and roof were done with the it.

I agree. Excellent use of a wonderful tool. That thatched roof is really awesome for its color variations. The scene as a whole has a sort of Monet feel to it.

great picture. i love the scene... could use some more waves in the water and showdows around the edges of the water,.. wonderful picture.. maybe you can show us the setting for the straw roof..

Thanks for the compliments on the picture. It was a great chance to play around with the fiber brush. Dr. jjwow, for the thatched roof I followed the advice in Aurick's extremely helpful Vegetation Tutorial (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001244). I came up with a strange looking material trying to create a cobblestone look, and then baked the cottage. Thanks for the great script Aurick! I tried to reproduce the settings in the picture below.
