Well, I've managed to get something finished. I really pushed myself on this one, with both true and completely false reflections. Talk about a long planning time! This is a picture of one of my own comic characters (named Hail) and another badguy I quickly whipped up for the shot.

More than anything it's just a picture to push to me do things in Zbrush I normally wouldn't, so while not perfect, it's served its purpose quite well :) Looking over the picture you'll notice all of the things I need to practice more, like producing lower poly and better textured models (thanks for the help Aurick) especially when you might have to fake the reflection of two characters. Anyways... enjoy!

Thanks guys :) I think it's a lot better image at the full size. I'll have to post it on my own website someday.

Hail is a bit of a knight :) I always found characters like Dr Doom fascinating how they could wander around with a ton of armour on... and the crossing of a knight and super hero just appealed to me. Normally his clothing is a little bit different, but trying to pull of the exact look I wanted is beyond me at the moment.

Hi Reactor, that's good for your first finished pic. I read that knights trained for years in their suits and could perform athletic feats while fully geared up. :) :tu:

That's interesting about knights, Grub. I hadn't heard that before... so I guess this picture is only 90% silly now :)

I picked up Poser 5 the other day, so eventually I'll be able to translate all of my characters into it, with their original outfits. Hopefully the combination of Zbrush and Poser will be a fruitful one.
