there is alot of deatail in this fellah, its gonna take me a while to absorb it all, I like the pipe things, they remind me of the 'squddies' i think they were called, in the matrix

yes this is pretty kewl. I like the pipes coming up from the ground. How did you do those? A Dante' type image of sorts...(I don't know much about art history but I remember seeing some very grisly images from him ) All we need now is a kewl river of blood. Ok..so it too early for that type of imagery, :) great job!!

It is a pretty creepy image... must come from all the crazy books I've read in my youth! ;~)
Ron, the tentacles were pretty easy to do... I modeled them out of Zspheres using a low rez adaptive skin mesh. After the image was rendered with the glass-like material I then imported the .psd back into Zbrush and painted the horizontal highlights using the highlighterII brush.
