View Full Version : hire a Zbrush artist?? Cheap here btw!...
Hey everyone,
I dont know where to post this request so I'm doing it here.
I need some custom projects done, where would I go about finding someone to make me my work, on a budget?
Can ANYONE here do this type of gig?

you should post more info, is it for animation, games, merchandise, stills, do you need fully textured models, what kind of polycount, what is the outcome, what other software are you using that the zbrush models would need to be compatible with. what kind of artists are you looking for, scifi, fantasy, realistic, etc. give the community something to go on.
Ok, this is what I want....
I want bodies like these made:

Can someone make me nude bodies like these?
Or are they already out there for the taking?

Well high class model like that will never be only 50 dollars.
Maybe if he sold it over gnomon or turbosquid to many people
but 50 dollars for a model like that and all rights on your side...
impossible not even in china or india im guessing.
cheers

Lets say he spent 40 hours on that model which is possible
because it is very high quality and a portfolio piece i guess.
Each of his work hours will be worth 1,25$.
Im even guessing you spend more then 40 hours on such a model.
thats crazy, the cost is so much, but I guess it's worth the work.
I have a question... that example where it shows the skin layouts, is there anymore examples like that?
Like what would $100 get me? Quality wise?? Even just a body. How about that? Just the body.
thanks

What about $50 for a half? A head for 23?
Like I'm being serious here, I'm asking like what I can get
is there no classifides section for this type of comissioned work??
Used finger, toe, 15 bucks a pop.

There's an old saying- you get what you pay for. $50 will get you pretty much nothing. You're basically asking someone to perform their trade for less money than a kid working at mcdonalds makes.

For your budget go to daz3d or renderosity and you will find reasonable models for the price. You can also check out turbosquid which has a fair collection of models but you will see that your budget will be strained there. A good exclusively made model is around $1000-3000. If less then turn around and leave so the fool offering you the low price cannot see you laughing. Someone has to eat.. and pay rent... and if people offer weeks of work for naught... then they will not be able to finish, or they will deliver crap, and there will be problems without end. Only a happy artist produces great products. If someone has to work at Taco Bell to model for you... then something's wrong...
Best of luck

there has to be some starving artists who can do a project like this!

Anyways tell us something about the project itself.
If ur only able to pay this little maybe you are not looking for
such great quality.

I would say try to learn MakeHuman http://www.makehuman.org/blog/index.php It will allow you to customize a body type to use since honestly nobody is going to bite and spend their time for 50 bucks. 300-500 is the starving artist starter in my book, and that's one hungry artist. :P
that sounds like maybe thats the program for me.
so many options, but most expensive.

Don't think so.
Consider date of first post to this thread.
Is there a line of starving artists lined up for the work?
Low Price
Speed
Quality
Choose two of them and send me a PM

Lets say the artist is making anywhere from $1000 to $1500 (USD) a week. You do the math.
Maybe in Poland it is cheaper, but in North America for $200 you can probably get yourself a pre-made model online with a crappy texture and lousy topology.
You get what you pay for in the end.

So... I can hire you for $800 a month and you will deliver 4 quality models every month. One every week. Interesting... really...

You know those guy's?

You have nice models, why not advertise yourself there. The people running that site are very nice and they teach as well. Probably a good contact in case you do not know them yet.

MCHmm, I know for a fact that its something in the region of £3-4000 for an outsourced, good weapon model at the very least, but thats in the UK, so its perhaps not that obscure.
