I suddenly can't open Zbrush, get error message saying it can't find the exe file or something. Do I need to reinstal? if so, do I need uninstalling the zbrush files already on my harddrive...I can't find it on my list of apps in control panel. appreciate assistance.
my system spec:
windows xp proffessional
Gforce 2 GTS, 768 meg RAM, Pentium 3
I can't say I know what the problem is. Remember ZBrush isn't really installed, so it isn't in the Add/Remove Applications list. Its just an EXE. Check your ZBrush directory, maybe your link (if you are using one) is incorrect...

Ya. I just realized this. I somehow managed to instal it and get it working, but not sure about certain things. For some reason, if I copy the files on my desktop and then try to move them into my Graphic App folder on the same drive, it wont start. does moving the Zbrush files from one area to another on the same hard drive cause problems with openning the app? Also, when I reinstalled zbrush I thought I had to get a new serial. Can someone explain exactly how to reinstal Zbrush if you already have a registered serial?
Delete "ZBrush short cut icon"
Now Move ZBrush were you want it and THEN make a NEW short Cut.
you moved the hole directory it sounded like or the EXE file it self.
the best thing is to leave it in your C:\Program Files or were ever you installed it and make a "short cut" then move the "short cut" to were ever....
do Not move any files out of the install ZBrush folder beside making a short cut then you can move the short cut
