Hi all,

As mentioned, my day job has lead me to have to relocte in the UK. I put my house on the market and sold it in no time at all (Maybe sold to cheap methinks!) I have been putting all my efforts ibnto finding a new place that suits my Wife and has Broadband access as I can no longer copt with a crumby 56K. Finding Broadband was easy compared to finding a house that suits Pam. But, after weeks of trying, we found a place and we move in about 6-8 weeks.

So thats why I have been absent. The absence also lead me to think about upgrading to a nice new SONY VAIO with a tonne of RAM and a decent chip. ZBrush on the move here we come!

Anyhoo, here is a piccy that will be in an upcoming book. US should get it first I think and there may be one or two other images in there that you may recognise.

Welcome Back southern. It's great to have you back with us. Your art has always been real eye candy and inspiring to me. My all time favorite is your war hog.

I have a facination with monsters and especially demons so this one I love :)

Glen, I really enjoy your posts, but there's something about this guy I really like! The quality of the skin, the many colors, the piercing eyes... but just one little thing (even though you didn't request a 1-2-1) the horn on the right side of the image... should it be overlapping the tip of the ear, as it seems to be doing on the left? Or is the depth of field fooling me? Oh, and to which book are you referring? I'd like to keep my eyes peeled. :D

Congrats on the sale of your house. I just closed on my old one a couple of weeks ago. What a relief!

All the best G in your new rezidence. Wow thats some exciting progress you are making, I am inspired by someone who works so hard. Most importantly you show that if you work hard enough towards a goal then it is possible to achieve that goal. Do you have any ideas when the book will be available in the UK, cause when I purchase my copy i am going to find you, and ask for your paw print,LOL.

Arran (picsas)

PS Nice use of purple in the skin texture!

Any relation to our "BookWorm" buddy of the past? Anything we should know about when we stroll about the library?

Thanks for the treat and I hope you and your wife will be happy in your new home

Incredible Render, Southern! 'scuse me for sounding like a total noob, but I need to know if those horns are a part of the mesh, and if they are, how did you make them a part of the mesh? I'm making a model w/ horns and it needs to be a complete mesh. I can only use the snake hook brush right now and I can't seem to make it a part of the model. I looked in the f.a.q. for an answer, but I couldn't find one. Thanks man.
