This one is another alien portrait in my usual style. Comments welcome.
Hi Codexus
awesome pic. I love the model, the contrasting colours and the very dramatic lighting.

Thanks for all the great comments.
Slosh, I don't have the answer to your question. This the kind of head I just model without any idea of what it's going to look like. Something just magically happens and a creature is born :) Now in my opinion, it looks more like a boy but with these aliens you can never really tell ;)
So true...but then with aliens, it might not matter! Course, now you say boy, I can see that. Looks like a surly teenager.

Really love the colors and very nice modeling job!
Hmmmmm. I missed this one!
I REALLY like the the skull work on him. Nice texturing going on in this region. :tu: :D :tu:
The lighting/render is well done. :tu:
LOVE the freckles. :D :tu:
His expression is priceless. I've seen that on my son at the Gaming store, particularly when they don't have the Gameboy Advanced he wanted. :D ;)

I can't believe I missed this one! :tu: :tu: :tu: On the texture and model. I'd suggest using the Plastic Toy material for the eyes - you will get a rather nice wet look to them.

once again thanks for the comments. :D
Kathy, great story about the gaming store, so funny.
Filament9, I used the Toy Plastic for the eyes in my previous pics but this time I wanted something different. So I used the glow material to get those eyes. the result is less realistic but I think the character looks more scary :)
