Is there any way I can find the number of zspheres in an object?
does anyone know of a document or site that explains about the different types of rendering, and so on.

Hi Reyd the number of poligon or zsphere can see if you stay the mouse in the icon tool, and then a thumbnail show it.

select the zsphere tool in the tools window, then hoover your curser ovre the little icon in the tools window, but do not press, wait a second or so, and a small table appears informing you about name and number of spheres...

As for the rendering types, you have two choices. One is to hold down the Ctrl key and mouse over the buttons in the Render palette. Alternatively, read the Render Palette chapter in the manual. It should be included in your ZBrush folder, or you can find it in the QuickLinks for New Users here at ZBC.

thanks aurick, but not quite what I mean, I guess I wasn't quite clear, sorry, I meant the difference between things like ray tracing, and other types of rendering, what they are called, and how they work.:P
