View Full Version : Spark's Dominance War 4 Entry
I just wanted to post what I did for the recent Dominance War 4. Zbrush was a huge help in getting things done for me in this war, and wanted to share some of what I created. Hope you like it, and any comments or crits are always appreciated.

Friggin fantastic work man. The concepts alone were ridiculous and the sculpt is fantastic. How do you get that awesome skin texture across your whole model? Are you adding it to the sculpt as a displacement after it's been UVed?

Really great work, I like very much your character! The horns design is superb, everything anyway is top quality, maybe a little more work on the legs to define better the bone structure would be awesome but overall my congrats!
I think that the textures are not as good as the model itself, I find the body a bit "simple", looks like you miss a bit of contrast/details/variations on that map.
Anyway great job, I like it :D

Very cool work :D
One question, is he sucking those green things or blowing?
Hey guy's, thanks for the kind reply's:) And thanks to whoever moved me into the right section for Dominance War!

Nerveink: Haha, thanks for the vote:) I appreciate it!
Dakmoden: Thanks for the compliments, for the skin I just sorta doodle it in as I didnt use alpha to get the details. I use the clay brush with a gravity and a slight focal shift to the +. I ran out of time to add any normal info to the lowpoly, but was planning to add more skin detail.
DiegoMaia: Thanks Diego!, you need to post up your awesome entry in here:)
Sriram: Hey man, long time no talk:) Thanks for the kudos!
Lodenfactory: Yah the legs were not given the needed detail, as I was planning to have them in lava:) But I plan on going back to the highpoly and tweaking when I try to pose him so they will be reworked. Textures don't come as easily to me as modeling, and again I didn't give enough time to them...if I do this again, 2 months will be dedicated to textures, while hipoly/unwrapping/lowpoly will be done in about half a day:P
BrettSinclair: Thanks Brett, I apprecaite that coming from you:)
Euge: Thankyou:)
Tyrone M: Thanks! They are coming from within him, as he is the vessel that holds all of the souls:) Or some sort of thing that makes a door to his back make more sense:)
Very nice. Cant say enough.
