i must admit i havent played with the clone brush too offten, in fact im not really sure on how to use it.. if there is anybody out there who use it often can you please post a script to show others and myself how to use it and where to use it.. thanks..

I haven't used the Clone Brush much myself, so this is the best I can do...

I'm still getting my head around some of the functions of the Cloner Brush, myself. Overall, it works very similarly to Photoshop's clone tool, but can also clone the depth information.

I'll try to practice with it a bit more, and work up a script soon. Of course, if someone else out there is ready to rock and roll with one, please don't wait for me! :)

well i rem the link above but is this the only function of the clone brush...im sure theres more to it than that...i understand about using the clone brush for transparent objects but what i need to know is there any benifit in using the clone brush for other images if so how,and why...

One place that the Cloner Brush is very useful is for painting a photograph or other image onto a texture using the TextureMaster. I did a tutorial a few weeks ago here at Photographic TextureMastering (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=003997).
