Z leveling..

Iam having a lil' prob,
is there way to raise/deraise everything on layers. I mean is there kinda layer-z?

I managed ones to raise/deraise things with that bump(or z or sumthing like that the tool name was)-tool but now when iam trying to use it, it doesnt do things "right". It makes all cubic. Hmm hard to explane..

But how to raise/deraise things on layers?

Fuzba, yes there is a layer-z ;)

Open your layers palette

Open Modifiers

You will see somthing that says 'Displace Z'

Sliding this back and fourth will bring the current selected layer backwards or forwards, depending on which direction, and how much you slide the slider.

But everytime i mod it, nothing happens.
Or sumtimes it makes huge steps..!
