Textures aren't my strong side, but I'll keep improving I hope
These are much better than on my last model

I tweaked them some more (played with saturation mostly)
Here is a test of my presentation shot. Jury is still out on the tattooed forehead, but I'll keep it for the time being, and focus on getting the lights right.

hello, hey i like the design of this character, i think it would be perfect for a new race in war hammer 4000 , some how it reminds me a bit the space marines.

I was inspired by Warhammer 40k figurines while working on this, so it's not a total coincidence.
It's a compliment that you picked up on that.

sephirothsinic - hehe he doesn't fly using those wings, they're just mangled pieces left there mainly for fighting, and some minor in-flight steering. He has a jet pack on the back. Seeing how he weights several tons, his wings would have to be huge to lift him

ZedHead - I'm so making an Astartes. I already have him in store. Made the concept even before this guy, and started modeling, but now that I see it - it's ridiculous ( I must say I made a huge improvement while working on this one, thanks to good people on the forums ) so I'm proly make him again from scratch.
