HI everybody! This is the one i've been working on this sunday (having z-fun). It has some postwork in ps as the helix, but very few, im learning lots of things here and im in debt with everyone. Surely u'll see influences from other zbrushers in my work, but its impossible while im visiting this forum since i've discovered it ;). Thank you all :D

Hope you'll like! :)

Yes you are doing very very well and is a nice original image. Everybody receive many influences but at the end everyone is unique and the creative process is unique¡¡¡
I congratulate you and we are learning from you...so your zip are always welcome¡¡¡¡

Thanx guys :) hehe, i've had to search the original title from hitchcok's movie coz in spain it's been called something like "with the death at the heels" (forgive my horrible translation) :P

I have some questions about shadows... in this picture i've had to draw the terrain's shadows because the rendering dindt project the figure to the floor, it made some dark motion blur beside the caracter ...??? maybe im not using correctly some shadows or rendering parameters ? maybe cause the terrain 3d and the caracter were not in the same layer?

And another question if im allowed to... :) :)
I love viewing the wireframe in low-poly objects.. I've made the texture for this guy in a rustic way i think :p , so it doest works perfectly.. is there anyway to increase the size of the wires (or inflate them)without texturing??

THAAAÄAANKX ALL! :d

Hi

If your shadows are not showing you may need to play with the shadow settings for your light(s).

If shadows aren't showing at all, then often it is because the shadow length isn't long enough (presuming you have turned shadows on :)).

If they are showing but are blurred as you say, the important settings are blur (fairly obvious) and aperture. With aperture, the lower it is the crisper or more defined your shadows will be.

Zmode and increasing the number of rays will help to produce more realistic shadows.

I don't think you can change the thickness of the polyframe wires, but you can change their opacity and colour under Preferences>Draw (and then use Photoshop to stroke them ;)).

Great picture too :tu: . I love the colouring.
