View Full Version : LANDSCAPE "The Mountain Pond"
Well I thought it was about time I did a landscape, I tried to include many natural forms in one image. I enjoyed this so much that my next image is also going to be a landscape

Man, that is just awesome :) The clarity and detail in the picture is just overwhelming. I could seriously look at that for ever!

Arran, yer skill is kicking major buttage for sure...and that water....droooools..you know I am a water freak....very believeable scene...the one and only thing I immediately noticed was that there wasnt much ground shadow from the tree....(which as the image opened up I thought was real) but I aint busting on you by any means..outstanding scene....and btw...I love the torso you made I am using the fool out of it when I doodle up a quicky...thnx for sharing it with us... :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: EDIT...my daughter just walked up behind me gave me a kiss and said Oh Daddy I love that...I quickly had to tell her that I didn't do that coz if I could then we would be eating filet mignon tonight....great showing Arran!!!!

excellent detail in this one picas.. my favorite part is the water ripple.. adds a great water effect in this one..
Is it me, or does that water actually look warm? Like a bath. The whole picture is great, picsas.
Very nice landscape Picsas :), very soothing on the eye. For some reason the rocks remind me of cadburys mini eggs, mmm scrummy. But hey I'm a chocoholic anyway, probably seeing what my tum wants to see!. ;)
man that is BeUuuTeeFul!!! Great job.
I love that water too! Did you just make a plane3d, hollow out where you needed the water, and a transparent flat plane over it? Amazing detail. Awesome pic.
Sorry, i just had to comment again. I looked at it much closer this time. The shadows on the tree and the way it stands out against the sky so clearly...beautiful. Then, the grass is lush (does not look fiber toolish). The rocks are beautifully done. I just really like the attention that went into this.
Picsas, I'm sorry but I'll have to kidnap you and hold you hostage until you release the information on your lighting and rendering techniques. I'm not kidding. I got a car, and a trunk! ;) :)
So how DO you drag that much out of the current rendering??? HMMMMMMM
pretty please.....
I was just kidding about the kinapping thing.... :D

A master piece for sure. I want to pick it apart and try and decipher how you did some of the things you did to make this fantastic image. :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

StoneCutter loves those rocks!!!
A really fine piece of work, P...The rock materials are great! I felt my grinding instincts fire up, with the desire to peel the surface to see what's underneath!

That actually looks like a diarama for a 25 mm wargame. I can just see Space Marines and Genestealers running across the ground....great work! :tu: :tu:
