Heres the first pic of my Marine Project that im workin on. It will take me a long time to finish it but i think it will be fun for me!
This is the helmet for the marine.

Hey LWTB...If you do your background as a painting, save it as a PSD or BMP, (which I use...), you can import it as a texture when you're ready to finish the piece, add it as a background, and also apply it as a reflection on your transparent visor...See my "Spacemans' Despair" image to see the effect...I have a tutorial script if you need it.

hmm...it does! Never thought of that!
Well, i think ill change it around some so it doesnt looks so similar.
Ive been messing around with what it will look like and heres another early version. This probablly wont be like the final though.
I think i need to fix the seams where the barrel and body of the gun interesect. Ill porbably just make one piece that includes them both.

Thanks a lot everyone for the comments. I completely revamped the gun cause it was getting hard to make a ll the pieces fit together.
Caliban: the TB stands for Tyler Brooks which is my name. The LW stands for anything really. Sometimes it means LoneWolf but i change what it is around a lot. So basically all that really matters is the TB part.

I just thought id post the drawing i made of the marine. Its not really what he'll look like but this is where i got all of my ideas from. IT was made while i was at school with nothing else to do so i drew this. It was done on regular notebook paper. the gun on the drawing is what i hope to make his rfle look like.
PS: i want to do more of this image but i keep having homework and projects for school. I need some free time to dig into the pic.
