View Full Version : Devil (finished!)
Pretty self explanitory... Its not done, I intend to add some sort of trident perhaps and hopefully a backround of some sort(anyone know an easy way to make flames). Anyway its made using the low polygon modeling method, and any tips or suggestions would be appreciated as usual

Cool! I really really like that. Those teeth are wonderful. As for the fire, try painting some simple fire colors, and then use the smudge brush to move em into fire shape and maybe some glow material.
Cant wait to see what you do with this :)

Hey G, you might want to play with the Shading Enhancer brush, set to a small size, 3-5, and with ZAdd turned off, RGB set around 20...If you use these settings with a 'dotted Alpha brush, you can add a visual texture to the horns, and with a smaller brush size yet, to the teeth...The Shading Enhancer, and Highlighter brushes have a similar, but different effect...If you want, I can do a script for you showing what I mean...Just email! ;)
great job gerlon!
Nice Trident!!! Do you mind giving me some tips :)
thanks for the tips :D . Anyway the trident is 2 pieces, a cylinder and a half-ring. The cylinder is pretty self explanitory, I just modeled the point onto it. The other piece was a ring with 180 Coverage, aka a half-ring. I took this and, with symmetry on, I turned it into more of a half-oval, I also added in the spikes at this point. Then I messed around with the deformers. I would squeeze in then out to get the shape. Then messing with gravity also helped shape it. Some of the other deformers such as inflate came in handy too. Last I used smooth to blend the lines near the spikes.
Alright I finished it :D . Thanks to everyone who helped me, I have utilized every single one of your suggestions, and they all worked out great.
