In what may be a ZBrush first (or not), I entered this parrot (such as it is) into today's 3D Fight Club daily challenge. The theme was a parrot, the time limit was ten minutes, and this is what I got. Hmm. :D
For those who don't know about it, the idea behind 3D Fight Club http://www.3dfightclub.com is to test your 3D creative skills in self-timed matches that are ridiculously short (5, 10, or 15 minutes, from start to final render). Each day has a new challenge, and it's quite funny seeing what happens when you simply don't have enough time to do what you wanted to do (and equally unnerving seeing how good some people are with the same limitation). People post their images to a forum thread, everybody has a good laugh, and hopefully we each get a little bit better at this stuff.
Usually the challenges tend to be non-organic things like a 5-minute spice rack or a 10-minute electric guitar, but like today there are occasional animals and such.
Go have a look at their archives if you think it's something you might want to try!
