I was over at CGTalk, and saw THIS (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=100356) post about this awesome BMW ad I saw the other day.

I normally don't do this "fanboy" stuff, but when I saw the ad, I was like, "THAT is a very cool, creative, and well done ad!".

Not it turns out one of our own was involved!

Since we are here at ZBC, and chance ZB was involved in the modeling?

Sorry, I didn't see this post until now.

I didn't use ZBrush for any of the animation models modeling.

I did, however, use ZB to make some quick concept models in the early stages of the project before the designs and maquettes were finalized.

It looks like you took a model that was done in a more trad. poly modeling tool and used ZB to essentially warp the model, correct?

It sure would be nice if the new ZB had some tools for doing more low poly work where you need some precision to get loops, and "hard" features like creases etc. into it before starting the sculpting process. Not that I mind having to run Wings and ZB at teh same time... Actually Animation Master, Wings, and ZB, and Photoshop, and Crossroads, and POV and Blender... :)

No, this model was started from scratch with a few Zspheres into a unified skin.

Low poly ears were attached to that mesh.
