Cool sketch..:) So he's the Earth power and his arch enemy has wind power...like Clashes of super natural powers.

So you will be sculpting both him and the Earth elemental?

some more concepts before i get into the modeling stuff

a 3/4th look at the final scene that i am trying to make, also decide to make a little more details in the beastrock

a more detailed look at sourock, he is going to be a mythological type of muscular warrior character, because of his magical powers he will be having a lot of engravings and body art on his body.

@ Solidsnakkexxx
Yes it is a clash of super natural power , based in magical world.Yes,I am looking forward to do both the characters. Count me as fan of teh Mantis man.

@ Petekasim
Thanx mate. The guys powers are based on magic. He can do a lot of attacks without using Beastrock, he can develop a complete armour around him made of rock, besides all teh weapons that he yield out of earth.Beastrock is his final form of attack.

@ aurick.
Sorry and thanx mate.

@harmonic
Thank you very much,I love harmonics on the Guitar.

I really like the style of the second sketch. Will that be the same pose for the final? If you haven't already came up with something... how about conjuring the for the action pose... the character squatting, pulling all his might together to create this awesome rock crusher you drew. Just a suggestion. thanks again for the post.

The concept looks even stronger in the 3/4 view image. This one is going to be awesome just by the concept. You've done quite a lot of design work/proportion scale design...very impressive. and thanks for your kind words on my Mantis Man :)

@Hex0254
You are welcome and thank you. Squat pose will really be cool.what i was really planning was both teh guys in same pose in fighting mode, then i thought it will be interesting if my main dude is in a cool attitude pose like magneto does.but i am still open to ideas, it will be nice toy to play with, isnt zbrush cool? we can do whatever we want at the speed of thought...

@Y/Hauss

Now what will be the easiest way to make some hair??

SolidSnakexxx
01-12-09, 11:30 PM
The hair..the easiest way would be....

1. Mesh Extraction
Mask the area you want the hair to grow then use the Mesh extraction which can be found under Tool > Subtool > Extract... Then you can sculpt away cool hair style...

2. Another mesh as subtool:
Add another Sphere (Or other mesh) as subtool and sculpt

3. ZSphere
Form using ZSphere then make an adaptive skin out of that...then sculpt.

Very nice sculpting so far! The main thing I see at this point is where the trapezius meet the deltoids. The transition seems a little too seamless. And possibly the abs seem a bit wide going into the hips. But everything else seems great!

@wethand,Drakelot
Thanx People, ur kind words keeps me going
@SolidSnakeXXX
Thanx for ur tips on hair, i will be making a new basemesh for the hair, coz the snake hooks didnt wortk that well, nd i planning to change teh hairstyle a little
@KrakenCMT
I wonder what CMT stands for, but thank you very much for teh anatomy suggestions, i have scaled down the abs a little but haven't sculpted the rib area right now, planning to keep it simple right until i get to the posing stage, correct me if i am wrong
