Inspired by entheogenic experiences and the artworks of H.R. Giger. Created in ZBrush 2.0, post-production in PhotoShop. Hope you enjoy

Just a suggestion; the way you've mapped giger images onto your models is a little too obvious at the moment. Try enabling the 'bump' parameter of your material, it might help the texture and your surfaces look more integrated.

Thank you for the suggestions Mestela. To go into more detail, I thought it was obvious Gigers work was a reference for this Image.

Bump (or Color) mapping would just make things look messy. I'm not trying to cover up anything up the way you suggest.

We're all influenced by the art around us, be it music or imagery. All I tried to do is build up what has already been done, and add my own ideas and identity to it.

I'm happy the way the image turned out, if you know of others like it, please point them out to me as I'm interested in this style.

Other then that, I'll be moving on to newer projects and leave the image the way it is. ZBrush is a wonderful program, it seems you can learn something new every time you use it.

I didn't mean to imply you were hiding or misleading, just that the giger elements don't look like part of the surface; almost like you had a slide projector of giger's artwork and are shining it on your scene.

Thanks for the link. I remember seeing his site a while ago. Neil really has an excellent eye for minute details and touches. His Compositions are slick and aesthetic.

Interesting, alessandro bavari in turn reminded me of dave mckean's work. He's working on a movie at the moment, hopefully it'll be finished soon!
