How make a PAUSE during a very long script ? MEGA tip :)

For the Pc Users I have just find that
Alt + Ctrl + Clear
I think there is similar in Mac world :)
It's not very elegant but it's works fine :)
You have just to press "Abort" when you comme back
(may be for take a beer in the refrigerator :)
and the script restart :)
I am very nut for not think of that sooner :D
An another solution in the programm ?
Key Escape = only abort the script :(
