View Full Version : pixelization in displacement/normal maps

Hi all,

I recently noticed that sometimes, when I'm painting small details, I get pixelization in the mesh, even though my mesh is sufficiently dense enough. I thought this might be a result of my painting in details at too low a resolution and then subdividing it. Could this be the case? And is there a way to smooth out these areas, without having to go in and manually smooth out everything.
