Action Hero – Mr Hughes

Hello everybody,

I'm so happy to take part in this contest!!
My character doesn't have secret identity and my inspiration was Constantine, Reservoir Dogs and the vocalist of the band Eagles of the Death Metal (Jesse Hughes).
Probably I'm gonna model Mr Hughes fighting agaist an Alien.

Back Story and Powers:

Mr Hughes was born with special talents... He has the strength of 20 men and he can fly. He never knew why he got those powers.
He is a guy who never did anything right in his life. His dream is to became a rockstar but he never could , even with such power.
He only works to buy cds, alcohol and women.
To be honest, he doesn't even work... He's trying to figure out a easy way the get money from honest people all the time.
One day, Mr hughes is taken by aliens and find out that the human beings are just an expierence that the aliens are loosing control.
The Aliens ask him help to emilinate some names of a list and get back the control of the humanity. They promissed to give Mr Hughes everything he always dreamed.
Mister Hughes is scared but he accepts to be "the chosen one".
After some time, Mr Hughes realizes that he is killing innocent people and the Aliens want to destroy all the humanity. In that day he find out why he got his abilities...
So Mr Hughes begins a serie of investigations and fight against the Aliens (but he never gave up of trying to be a rockstart :cool: ).

Regarding multiple characters: Not a good idea. The vision of the contest is to create a single character. Trying to create more not only dilutes your efforts, but it also creates real problems should you win a print prize.

Lucky_1 - Thanks man. Actually I'm not thinking about to model a complete character. Probably I'm just gonna model a part of him or something like a base.

Hello guys,

Thank you very much for your support!
I've been moving from another state here in Brazil and I was out of internet.
I had a lot of problems here So that's why I didn't post any update so far.
But I'm back now and I'll give my best on this constest.
That's the first step... it's just blocked and still veeeeeeeeery rough. You can be sure that it will change a lot.

Now, another update!
It's close to the final model now... I just have to refine all the areas... meanly the hair and start the body. But the face I'll change a little more after I pose him.

Hello guys!!

Thank you very much for your kind words!!
That's a preview of the Alien who Mr Hughes will fight against.
I'll refine the wrinkles and add some alphas afterwards pose him.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to draw this creature So I had to figure out a good design by using Zbrush... It was very fun and I think that make it a worm like was a good solution to make a quick model.

That worm is tremendous,and fairly similar to something I'm doing on my entry - she has two big tentacle/worm creatures coming out of her back.
