Entrant - Ron McLeroy

Adriot Dex was born in hyper space fleeing from the Intergalactic Police with his dad steering the newly commandeered freight runner they had just stolen. After his dad was executed by a firing squad and his mother died in prison he was left to a boy's school, then escaped and was sent to a reform school. After pimp slapping the dean and grabbing the secretary's a**, he left that school too. At the age of 18 he boarded his first space ship since the day of his birth and nothing felt more right. He then hitched a ride on the ship of a famous bounty hunter in the universe at that time. Unknown to the Bounty Hunter, Adriot and another passenger were on board. Adriot thought he was the only other one, till he heard laser fire and a fight. He took one look at the cast away and knew he was no good. He grabbed a near by plasma rifle and exterminated him. The bounty hunter was grateful and took Adriot under his wing. He took every word that bounty hunter said and absorbed it into his soul and psyche. With the two of them working in collaboration they were the most loved and hated in the universe. The citizens loved them and the criminals despised them. And one of those criminals hated the bounty hunter so much he killed him.

Something clicked in Adriot after his mentor's death. He searched out the murderer and took his sweet time teaching the man "some respect". After Adriot was done with him, he wasn't going to disrespect anyone anymore. Adriot now on his own at the age of 28, mourned the bounty hunter's death for 3 years. In the public eye, they figured he was dead or retired. Those two words basically mean the same thing anyway. After his personal business was done, he wanted to get back to work. Seems that they had made another reality TV show about intergalactic bounty hunters and Adriot got in at the right time. He was kicking a** on a galactic level. He had become more loved and more hated than he had ever been. He got his own show and eventually it became so popular that when he was apprehending his bounties, they would wave at the camera and were honored that they were being cuffed by the Adriot Dex: Bounty Hunter From The Stars. He was televisioned, for the lack of a better word. Famous, rich, loved and hated but it wasn't just limited to citizens and criminals now. It was ALL the men jealous of him and all the women loving him. Which only widened his smile.

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks. This is one of my beloved characters I have been working on in my head for a very long time. Decided to finally visualize him.

maxinkuk: Thanks.

JUPITER: I did the sketch in Alias Sketchbook. I miss my Photoshop so much.

I didn't read the story, because I have a phobia of words, I much prefer pictures. Based on the pictures I would say the design is pretty strong. I prefer my superheroes to have 5 eyes, glowing tattoos, and 15 layers of living armor, but for the look you're going for, the design is good. The mesh is also coming along well thus far. No critiques as of yet.

Twitchmonkey: HAHA! Thanks. Cant wait to see your entry. Post it soon!

Seavannah: Thank you. Good luck to you too.

jinchoung: No it is Adriot. I know the definition.

adroit:
–adjective
1.expert or nimble in the use of the hands or body.
2.cleverly skillful, resourceful, or ingenious

But it didnt roll off the tongue as well as Adriot. But it is still meant to imply the same as the definition.

Gonna start working on the legs tomorrow. After that work on defining the face more.

Gonna sketch out a pose tonight and try to find something dynamic enough. Might use the pose in the concept sketches. I like it enough.

Wanted to practice my transpose technique so I put it in the concept sketch pose. I like it. To me Adriot is very, how shall we say, pompous and arrogant. Yet at the same time very charismatic. The guy you love to hate with a super hot chick on his arm.

If anyone has any characters in mind that are like that from movies your input is greatly appreciated.

Characters that come to mind are a mix of Sawyer from Lost and Zaphod Beeblebrox from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Liking the pose, only thing I can think of is experimenting with the head. A little upward tilt could add arrogance and increased drama. Might not work out how I think it will, but something to consider.

I'll get to work on my entry tonight, if I can. I tried last night and was told I had to activate my copy of Zbrush. Happens every now and again and it fixes itself, I just hope it decides to be fixed tonight. Nope, no luck. Bummer. Anyway, I'll get going as soon as possible, I promise.

Edit: I tried to post an image from Poser on what I think you could do with the pose, but wouldn't you know it? Won't stop crashing on me. I have bad luck with computers.

DAnconia

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks. The shape of the body really came out in the pose. I can feel the forms a whole lot more now.

MINTY: Thank you.

jinchoung: Thank you. I am really surprised at how easy it was to pose the character.

maxinkuk: Haha! That is a very nice way to put the attitude I am going for.

Twitchmonkey: I was thinking it while you were writing it Twitch. I believe i got it.

Got the pose!

Going to work on the hands tomorrow. Have to finalize the forms of the fingers and then ball them into a fist. I really want the hands to be the best part of this sculpt as it is the weakest point in my drawing and sculpting.

Liking it so far though I definitely think you could push the pose some more. It seems too balanced. Try shifting the weight to one side and adding some torque to the hips and shoulders and it should make the pose much more dynamic even if you want it pretty neutral:D . Great start.

Cheers,

The overall shape is more defined now. I think this one's going to be quite graceful when it's complete.

Twitchmonkey
12-23-08, 11:54 PM
There we go. That's the ticket. If you wanted to push the pose further, you could put one hand on his waist and straighten the other arm and make its hand into a fist. Alternatively you could give him a gun or a grenade in the other hand and bend the arm bringing it close to the face. I think what you've got so far works though, so those are just things to think about if the figure seems to be lacking drama.

Edit: When I talk about giving him a gun and bringing it in close to the face I mean like this:

Alright, I got Poser working and I tried out some poses that I think could work. The one most similar to your current pose but with what I consider to be a bit more drama is this one:

1.jpg

It's not perfect, but something to take a look at. Poser is a great resource for, well, posing, and working out poses. Plus there is a trial available. Not a bad option to test poses and see if they work.

Slimspoonful: Thank you. I am going to shift the weight to his left side. Gonna work that out later tonight.

SolidSnakexxx: Thank you. I am trying to keep it simple.

JUPITER: Thank you. This will be my first sculpt to finish so it will be exciting to see it completed.

Twitchmonkey: Thanks for the mock up. I liked that reference picture of Cable. I am trying to decide on what if any weapons he will wear.

sonicwind: HAHA!! I will get it done.

Worked on the hands a bit and the forearm as well. Still need to distribute the weight to his fee. They seem a bit off to me. Gonna sketch out his costume over this wip image and see what happens.

Happy Holidays!!

I think his weight needs to be shifted a bit more onto one of his legs so he looks like he is really not working too hard to stand there and i think it will be more natural.

As far as a film reference, I would say he reminds me of Ryan Renolds from National Lampoon's Van Wilder hah.

Twitchmonkey
12-24-08, 10:21 PM
Looking good. I'd say give the legs some love. They're looking too bulky to me throughout. I think the mass is right at the most muscular points, but bringing in the form at certain points, such as the point behind the knee between the hamstrings and calf. I'm sure you intend to focus on the feet a lot more at some point, but roughing out their shape a bit would also help to bring all of the parts to about the same level of polish. Torso and arms are looking solid at this point though. Hands are looking proportionally correct, if you want to really make them shine, I think you'll want to focus on contouring the curves of the fingers and finally adding some vascularity, but that is of course something to focus on later on down the road.

DAnconia
12-25-08, 01:21 AM
Slanted the shoulders a bit more. After this Im going to add some more detail to the face. Block in some hair and finish up the hands.

aiman: Im trying to get it down. Whole lot of anatomy changed with even a slight bit of weight transfer. Its amazing and very challenging.

Twitchmonkey: Definitely got to give the legs more shape. Im not worried about the feet cause I am going to give him some boots. Just want to get the over all shape done.

The upper body is looking pretty good, you've progressed a lot in your skills. You should be fine once you scale down that big ol' club foot of his but you're doing very well! Keep up the good work.

Face is looking good. Rough, but good. Keep going on those legs. Maybe start roughing in the major muscles of the upper leg like the rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, and vastus medialis. Also mind the knees, everyone has a different boney structure to the knee, but it might be best to hint at their compound nature, to really demonstrate your understanding of anatomy. Take a look at the back of the knee, the division between the biceps femoris and the semitendinosus might be a tad too defined for a fleshed model. Unfortunately, I can't see the back of my knee and the model I have sitting here has no flesh, so I may be wrong. Finally, the calf looks a little blocky from some angles.

Really slight issues with the leg, basically, and I know you're working on it, I just hope my random musings can be of some assistance.

Fess
12-25-08, 11:04 PM
I quite like your character. The form is very natural. I think what the pose is missing is the angle on the pelvis/ribcage. The pelvis is always higher on the leg that supports the most weight, and then the angles between pelvis to ribcage and ribcage to shoulders are smaller on that side as well.

Teyon
12-26-08, 04:54 AM
The model is coming along great as a sculpt. However, the pose is lacking much in the way of action. The pose needs to be more dynamic in my opinion. I'm not sure what your plans are down the road but you may want to consider alternatives to the current pose you've chosen. Remember the brief said the pose has to convey action and despite the fact that there are dynamic poses where characters are standing still, standing still doesn't really imply action. He's a buttocks kicking wildman, you should take advantage of that in the pose I think.

Took a break today due to the fact I got the 2nd season of The Shield. Which is an absolutely fantastic, consistent and addictive show. Watch it! Two seasons and every episode is so immersive.

Twitchmonkey: Thank you so much for your critiques. They are always in-depth and unbiased. You just know what needs to be done. Im going to start all over from the knee down. It is all off. Doesnt even compare to the upper body. Thats just unfair!

Fess: Thank you very much. I am trying to keep it as simple and clean as possible. Frank Frazetta said once that sometimes there can be too much detail. Not allowing the viewer to complete it for themselves. You dont let them have an imagination when you give it all to them. So I have been trying to stay away from ripped muscles and have clean graceful lines. Hint at forms here and there and allow the viewer to complete the rest.

Teyon: Couldnt agree more. I finally found an old drawing I did way back in the day that i am going off of. I have decided to have him at the edge of a cliff at the very moment he lunges off to pounce on a very very lucrituve bounty. So much to get done from head to toe. This pose is more of getting to know the character in a way. To know how he is relaxed pompous so I can better contrast it with focus and ferocity.

Thank you all for you encouragement and support. This is the only forum I participate in daily. The reason clearly shows in this entry and all the rest. That participation and inspiration flow from this forum.

Look for an update tomorrow!

So far so good, I would look into beefing up the fingers a little bit....just a bit, they are getting a bit lost compared to the rest of the power in this figure.

12-27-08, 03:42 PM
Oh yeah, just an agreement about what Frazetta said, a little bit of "Indication" in a painting/sculpture can go a long way....also look at Rodin.

Teyon
12-27-08, 08:38 PM
Ah! Makes sense to me. Then my only other suggestion would be to thin down the ankle area somewhat. Not a whole lot, just a bit. They're kind of the same size as the calf muscles in the last image, which seems odd. Unless you're going for a slightly stylized look...in which case, keep it.

Didn't REALLY want to post this but i need help ladies and gentlemen. There is something off here.

Please critique everything BUT the hands. I haven't had the courage to do it yet lol. But i will work on it tonight i promise!

The scene will be him leaping off a cliff. Trying to capture the moment right before he jumps off.

I'm going to put a knife in his right hand.

Whats off is his entire weight! He is tipping over right now because his foot is not under him, you need to rotate his entire upper body at least straight up or move his front foot under where his neck is.

Flack
12-29-08, 09:40 PM
Hey DAnconia, I'm going to try to help you out a little bit here.

paint over:

AD11_edit.jpg

1.) You've done an ok job at this part, but the back and the "push-off leg" should be inline with each other. You've done this but you've put the angle far too far forward. "Stand your guy up" a bit more and make sure that it's one smooth line from the push-off leg to the top of the back.

2.)The free leg should be up in the air, the theigh/top of the knee should be parallel (or close to parallel) to the ground.

3.) The foot should have a bend in it. Make the heel of the foot in the air while the ball of the foot is still flat on the group, pushing off on the surface your character is jumping off of.

4.) Let the foot on the free leg hang a bit, remember that it won't point straight down on it's own, it has tendons and muscles holding it in place, make it "sag and hang" a bit, it will look a lot more natural.

I've also attached an image of a boy jumping off a boat, he illustrates well what I'm talking about.

joe55: The easiest way to pose a character, for me, is to act as if the transpose line is a bone. I also transpose in muscle groups so that the body moves along together. Also go slow and move the limbs slowly and reshape the forms in the lowest sub d level. You will get it done.

aiman: Thank you so much! You nailed it.

Flack: Thank you so much for the reference and paint over. that is really awesome of you to do for this entry.

Twitchmonkey
12-30-08, 03:15 AM
The pose is strong, but you really have to address his right leg. With how it's placed up against the rock, I can't see him leaping off anything with any fluidity, seems like at the moment he would stumble to his death. That's no good. If you were to simply lift his foot on top of the rock, well I think that would give him a fine chance to leap over whatever he is intent on leaping over.

I've got to get to work on my entry, my christmas break is over, but I just got to playing Neverwinter Nights 2 again, and you know how it is, "just one more quest and I'm done" and then it's 5 hours later.

dismantled: Thanks. Yeah it looks better to be grounded than it is to be floating in the air. The rock i sketched in about 10 mins before posting lol. So there will be significant changes made.

Twitchmonkey: Yeah the pose was fixed with aiman and Flacks suggestions and paintover. So now i gotta workout all the small details. Going to look at some sprinters from the starting line and also football players at the scrimmage line and try to find a nice balance. Then again i might just change the entire pose all together lol. Its so easy to pose in Zbrush its crazy so tonight and tomorrow night im going to spend working on about 3 other poses and see which one is best. Thanks so much for your crit.

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks. Your sculpt is looking great. Your sessions with Alex is so apparent now that i know about it lol. I love it.

threetails: Thank you. Thanks to Flack for that reference photo. Its a really good one. I am using George Bridgmans Guide to Drawing From Life for anatomy reference. Basically I go through all the steps from head to toe and then back again on each new subdivisional level. For this pose i did not have any reference. It shows on the balance issue of the first attempt. But for the contortion and position of the body i just put my own self in that pose to get a feeling and went from there.

dustbin1_uk: Thank you. It is so much easier on my processor speed to retopologize everything. Which is what im working on as we speak. Its so easy and im excited to be able to put more topology in the joint areas so it conforms better with Transpose Master. Im very excited. This is about the easiest way to sculpt without worry and then make a great base mesh afterwards. Creating at the speed of thought. You gotta love Zbrush!

Hi Danconia, I've just been to hell and back with my retopologized model and Transpose Master. Almost every 5 poly star exploding after the transposing, I had to edit and re-edit until Transpose Master was happy with what he was fed. I advise you to make sure you have only those stars that are truly necessary.

I like the design for a guy in a cool suit, but I'm not sure he says super to me yet. As you know, I don't read things, and haven't yet read his description, but if it doesn't conflict with his personality, I would delineate the muscle masses more. Really bring in the areas around his biceps, define the underside of the pectorals, etc. Not a critique on the form so much as a personal judgment about his presence. Besides that, the only issues I see are pose issues, and since the pose is sort of a last minute thing, I don't know if those are worth bringing up. Otherwise it's great, no problems really, just aesthetic preference.

DAnconia
01-09-09, 02:13 PM
Twitchmonkey: Thanks! Yeah he really doesnt have any super powers. He is just a bounty hunter that kicks butt and has an attitude lol. I wanted something as simple as possible and not have to deal with magical powers. These are just some sketches. Im really not liking the whole extract and retopologize method. It was a waste of time in the end. So im just going to sculpt directly on the body so i dont have any open ends and it will look and feel more solid in the end. So im gonna get cracking on that tonight. You feeling better now since getting out of the hospital?

Twitchmonkey
01-09-09, 05:11 PM
Oh yeah, I've gone from horrible pain that could only be managed through what was the equivalent of heroin being pumped through my veins every few hours to feeling perfectly fine.

With your description, the body makes more sense. I think you should at some point focus on texture to make him more interesting with his fairly standard features. Show which parts of his armor are metal and which are cloth, and give his boots a different texture entirely. Of course, that will come later, but I have nothing to critique at the moment, so I figured I'd speculate on what you should do next.

So i figured out a scene. He is going to be hanging off the top of the cathedral grasping the cross at top while taking aim at his target. I am trying to get the muscle tension correct. It is so fun. Twitchmonkey
01-19-09, 04:09 PM
I like the rigidity of his shooting arm, really gives him the look of a confident sharpshooter. I do have some issue with the support arm though. To support oneself in that position without some amount of support from the structure seems as though it would take a tremendous amount of strength. I understand that Adroit is a strong guy and he'll probably be using his leg(s) for support, but it would still make more sense to me if he was wrapping his arm around the cross for greater stability.

DAnconia
01-19-09, 06:21 PM
Gohanf22: Thanks. I look forward to your input and help. I will return the favor.

Twitchmonkey: Thanks. He will be supporting himself with both legs and have his hand grasping the cross. It will be made of iron so he can wrap his whole hand around it. If it doesnt look right, there is always rope. Time is winding down quickly aint it?

Twitchmonkey
01-19-09, 06:40 PM
Time is winding down quickly aint it?Hell no. There is still plenty of time. Or at least I have to keep telling myself that. Especially when Zbrush only lets me work on my model every few days. Anyway, I think I'd have to see the cross to really conceptualize what you're going for. Not that what I can conceptualize matters, but building a simple mock-up might help you really finesse your pose into becoming truly dynamic. Just a thought.

now i know what needs to be more dynamic and why this pose just doesnt seem right. with him just holding on by his arm, i know he is a strong fellow but just doesnt seem real to me. he may get tired. i think what should be done is have either some sort of brace for his legs. maybe put the one leg's foot around something to give him more support with the arm that is holding on to the catherdral. that may make it more dynamic. the choice is still yours. make it happen my friend. your doing a good job. :D :tu:

DAnconia, nice work on the poses :tu:

I actually really liked the cathedral pose, but this new one certainly ain't bad. It feels very natural and understated, but seeing as this is an Action Hero contest, maybe it lacks a little drama

Anyway, very solid sculpting skills on display here, all the best with your entry :)

Hey there, DAnconia, For me I much prefer the cathedral pose..it looks a lot more dynamic and very unique.. But the new pose's quite nice too, balance but less action like. :)

Twitchmonkey
01-25-09, 08:55 PM
I liked the other pose in theory, I wasn't quite sure what exactly you were going to do with it, but it showed potential. This new pose can work too, but I agree with some of the other posters that for this sort of contest you may want to push it a bit farther. More hip rotation and/or head rotation is what comes to mind immediately, those things can always add a more dynamic quality to a pose. It's also going to depend on what you're doing with the face, have you begun to rough out what sort of look you're going to give him in that regard?

Drakelot
01-25-09, 09:17 PM

01-26-09, 11:08 PM
petekasim: Thanks. I liked the idea of the cathedral pose but it didnt give him motion. It just had him too rigid in the end.

jackdaniels666: Thanks. Hopefully this pose is more to your liking. I love your sculpt. Top 3 on my personal list.

Gohanf22: Thanks. Would love your input on this one as well.

fluxist8070: Oh its twisted now.

Twitchmonkey: Thanks. I thought the same thing. The cathedral pose looked good in my head movies but not for this competition. Its more of an illustration than a printable object. The face i have done in my head. Im waiting to finalize a pose idea which i have just done so that i dont waste time on details when its not even set. For me when you transpose limbs and such, there is a whole lot of work to be done to correct everything.

Drakelot: Thanks.

---------------------------------------

I LOOOOVE this pose.

Got a lot of work to do on the anatomy and such but this is a pose test for right now and it has passed. So i will start on the anatomy tomorrow. Right now i would like crits and comments on the pose more than the form.

hmm...donīt know how to explain :(

I think IMHO that the fingers could be maybe a little bit more strained (hope thatīs the right word)
Iīve tried to imitate this pose with a broom :D and to be able to hit somebody down with it...
the hands must hold it tighter..and a little bit more agressive..
While Iīve tried it my fingers have been more spread than the fingers in your pose..

I agree, this last pose is really good... tweak it just a tick more.... bring the character's left leg up more and elevated... right now it feels like both feet are too close to the ground OR bring the right leg back a little further and straighten it out with the left leg planted on the ground... this may be a little easier to accomplish while still maintaining the current pose.... you did an amazing job on the whole upper body... the rhythm of the arms and the arch of the back and torso is so incredibly spot on with a great silhouette!

Looking good so far. As for the abs, I think the problem is that they're all the same size. If my anatomical figure is to be believed, they get somewhat larger as they get farther down. Also, you might want to add an upward angle to the top ones. That's what I'm seeing in the model.

Twitchmonkey: Thanks. I think i fixed it. let me know what you think.

Drakelot: Thanks! Love your female sculpts. I cant wait to get some time to sculpt a series of females. Gotta finish this contest and then Dominance War starts on the 20th. Gonna be a great time.

Fixed some forms and the severe lines on the abs. Look much better to me. Still gotta work on the fingers and the face as well. Later on tonight im gonna work on the legs some more.

Looking good. I like the abs more now, they seem more natural. The pectorals and wrist extensors might be a tad overdone, I'm not sure I've even seen that sort of definition in Schwarzenegger. I could be wrong, but something to look at. Not really sure how to help you get farther than you are now. This is about where I get hung up, never sure how to add that extra level of polish that really makes the sculpt stand out. I hope you have better luck with that than I do.

The face's looking real good.. :tu: ?Man you are whipping out the head real fast. And I agree a good ref book's so important for this kind of sculpt.

SolidSnakexxx: HAHAHA! I know! It was amazing to me. I have been imagining his face in my mind since the beginning of the contest. It all just fell into place. Thanks.

I think the process of facial sculpting is like you are delivering a baby...and in the process you'd imagine how your baby would look like..hehehehe

The face seems well done, but a bit uninteresting to me. Anatomically I think you're on the right, but just taking the move brush to the eyebrows and mouth until you get something more powerful would be a good idea. I would also consider opening the mouth. There is rage in the pose, but only slight anger in the expression. The leg muscles are great. The mass seems proportional to the rest of the form and the shape is correct as far as I can recall. You may want to consider adding some sort of genital bulge. I think it adds a certain realism to a sculpt and you don't want him looking like a ken doll when he's finished. Great job thus far though, the pose and deformation are really working to sell the sculpt.

SolidSnakexxx: Haha! Exactly. Just make sure those babies dont get around Dankwing Duck haha!

Twitchmonkey: Hopefully its more interesting now. Thanks so much for the advice. I pushed the expression more and i love it. Your crits are so damn helpful! Thank you.

Glad to help. It's looking much better now. He has intensity. It's also clear you know your way around the planes of the face, be careful not to lose those if you take this further into the realm of realism, as they give him a ruggedness and strength. I like the hair, but be careful with it. If you don't have any more subD levels to work with, things can start to look a little wonky if you're not careful. If your rig can handle some more detail though, you should be good. Another you might want to consider is picking up Erklaerbar's Zbrush Fun Pack (http://www.notone.ch/Zbrush.htm). There are a lot of great brushes in there. Helps me when working with hair. There are also some nice materials and alphas. Well, keep up the good work.

Hey DAnconia

That face is beautifully balanced and has tremendous aesthitic appeal. Work hard to ensure you retain it as you add detail

The pose is superb, very fluid and dynamic. The only flaw I can see is his left hip has become too high.

Here's a quick and dirty drawing I did using a mouse to illustrate:

AD55.jpg

It's tricky to find ways of retaining dynanism within the bounds of anatomical accuracy. You can take liberties here and there when pursuing exaggeration and drama, but keep it as discreet as possible

Anyway, excellent updates, best of luck with your progress

Twitchmonkey: Thanks. I fixed the hair and had it a little more subtle. Finished the other eye too. Coming along well for me.

petekasim: Thank you. I love you entry. Her pose is so wonderful and the pedestal is so eloquent. Great job. Thanks for the paint over. I see what you mean. Dont you just love anatomy!

Finished the other eye and redid the hair. Going to move on to boots tonight and then the suit tomorrow. Thanks again for all of your help, support and your art. It inspires me every single day!

The hair is coming together well. You've managed a pretty believable flow with the tube directionality. Wow, directionality is a word, +1 for Twitch.

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks man. Glad you like it.

Put some boots on him and i am gonna go over to illustrator and see if i can find a good design to put on the boot. Time for some Zapplink!!

Loving it thus far. Only two possibly issues. The rectus femoris doesn't look perfect to me, I think it should increase in width somewhat as it approaches the pelvis. It also seems like it should be obscured by the sartorius as it approaches the pelvis. I could be wrong, just something to consider. The foot is also bothering me. The rotation seems more appropriate originating from the hip rather than the ankle. As it is now it seems somewhat unnatural. I don't know, I'm probably just crazy. Try as I might, I can't take issue with anything else.

ryankingslien: Thank you. Wouldnt have gotten this far if it werent for your DVDs. I use your pinch brush technique quite often. I cant express how much i appreciate you stopping by and commenting. You are definitely a master.

Twitchmonkey: Thanks for the critique. I really wanted to get the forms down cause i was gonna detail over it. As you can see with this update. Ill take a better look at the foot.

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks. Yeah i think i found my new favorite matcap. Its from the great Sathe. Called Hardstyle

Been sick for the last two days. Getting well enough to start sculpting again. Added a few bits and gave it some details. Let me know what you think.

Everything is looking really good. My only problem is I can't tell where his shirt ends and his body begins, it sort of looks like a loose skin shirt. Defining the edge and maybe inflating the shirt area would be helpful I think. The folds themselves are looking great though. They make sense for the pose.

Thanks to everyone. Sorry cant do the usual individual replies. I am so sick right now its not even funny. Im not bitter though. Everything happens for a reason and im sure this is all going to fall into place eventually. Im going to go as far as i can up until thursday night. If i am no where close i will have to pull out. I am unable to create as freely and efficiently with such a high fever. But the show must go on.

Added a gauntlet. Im most likely going to throw it away and start over. Not sure yet. Like i said. Im not thinking or creating clearly right now. Just doing my best.
