Hey all.I have a question for anyone with the knowledge to supply the answer.I was wondering if there is anyway to splice two meshes together?Like say I wanted to splice a sphere with a square,is there a way to do that and still have it 3 dementional?If so please tell....

i think your talking about the multimarker tool... if so you can play the default mutimarker example that comes with zbrush or you can view my quick example...its not much but i think youll get the basic ideamulti marker.txt (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1006151666qcj.txt)

Bear in mind that when using the multiple marker, it creates a polymesh; a polygon-based object. The higher your division settings are for the sphere and the cube, the more polygons there will be in the polymesh. That requires more disk space, etc., to save the polymesh object.

BUT polymesh objects in ZBrush have the Smooth feature available at the top of the Tool>Modifiers menu (and you can increase the subdivision divide amount by using the slider next to the Smooth slider). Using these two, it is possible to use a low polygon mesh and make it appear as smooth as a high polygon mesh with the only price being a temporary increase in processing power if you wait until right before snapshotting to kick the divide slider way up.

This gives you the best of both worlds -- a low-density polymesh, and a nicely smooth final object. So try to keep the primitives' initialization values as low as possible before using the multi-marker and then compensate for that later with the polymesh modifiers.
