I was wondering - if we can use the "Alpha Century" method of creating terrain on a 3D plane, what is the advantage of the 3D terrain tool?

(This is probably one of those really obvious type questions so I'll prepare to smack my head and utter "d'oh!")

The Terrain3D tool is a quick way to create a basic terrain shape by setting the initialize graphs. The AlphaCentury technique uses masking to take greater control, but also takes longer and more of an artistic eye.

For that matter, you could use the AlphaCentury technique on a Terrain3D instead of a Plane3D. Or on any of the other primitives to get some very interesting results...
