Hi all :)

As i don't have alot of free time, here is a small image quickly done.
My goal was to start from a Poser mesh (Don), export it to Zbrush, and add small details, changing his face to this one below.

I think this method is really effective to create fast images with a poser base, to a final modeling totally different from the start.

Feel free to post your test from poser to Zbrush on this thread if you wish :)

note : I didn't use the Poser texture for this one. Texturing all done with Projection master. Render under ZB2. Post Prod under Photoshop for some filters.

Yes, that worked very well.

Poser is a great tool, but has a very specific look to it. I can look at your render, and it does't say poser to me, which means it worked well.
Imo, the best ways to avoid the poser look with poser people, is to add non-poser changes (like how you did the face), and use a non-poser render engine.

just amazing. I love your crispy renders. Very strong style. The only thing that is a bit off is his left arm. In this pose the biceps should be contracted because of the upper arm weight.
Anyway I never could say it was a poser model.

Wow, I'm doing the same thing for a project I'm working on at te moment. It's encouraging to know Don can be used for such an effective base! Great work :)

Always love your sense of color, Strike. You're
piece called "Dying" is one of my favorite Z-Brush paintings. You are an inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing your latest work...
