Talk about someone having a brainstorm when they creating this! This goes beyond E=MC'2

I have as well experienced some strange things with the release. Objects disappearing etc.. This file would crash everytime I hit the save button. If I used the "SaveAs" it was OK. I am wondering, I started the document right after running the Stencil Tutorial, maybe the enviroment was left in some strange mode? I know not.

I am confirming what Digits has already indicated about ZBrush v1.23.

I attempted to "save" a file prior to changing any configuration settings, or running any of the ZScripts. This crashes ZBrush on both of my systems.

As Digits has already noted, using "save as" is a temporary work around, for saving as you are working; if you keep the filename the same, it accomplishes the same thing as a "save".

Great looking image, Digits. Looks loike a game board. I too had trouble saving and when I looked at the saved file it was named
zbr.zbr.zbr.zbr.zbr.zbr.zbr... etc about ten times.
There are bound to be a few bugs and I've already found a number of answers to questions that almost got posted here, thus saving myself from looking foolish..

You see, every 100 posts you get more annoying and so you get a little dot. This is so that people at a glance can tell that you have no life but to post here. This really isn't so, I do have a life, it is just right now I have no life at work, so to keep from going insane I come and pester people here.
