The old chestnut is the production of something like a showroom Lamborghini, or.. probably for that matter.. a bowl of flowers in a room with a lit fireplace. The tools (old and new) are incredible. I can see hundreds of files in your image library with a project of this magnitude and I think that it is testament to the determination you have.
Couldn't you save the car ZTL with a mask where the windows are then save another one with an inverted mask in order to produce the required transparency where the windows are. then you 'only' have to get the interior modelled on a different layer. The fact that Layers can be in any position in the Zdimension regardless of their position in the palette should help maybe.
Please tell me if I am talking twaddle. I can only learn myself. I am still a rookie at this Zgame having come from a traditional 3D modelling environment. I am still having to try and restructure my neural network to cope with this fantastic alternative model.
